Clinical Observation Of "Dehumidification And Detoxification Decoction Plus Or Minus" Combined With Herbal Wash For Treating Palmoplantar Pustulosis

Objective:Observating the clinical efficacy of the prescription named“dehumidification and detoxification decoction plus or minus” combined with herbal wash for treating palmoplantar pustulosis.Methods:Select 114 patients of palmoplantar pustular disease form The First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang Chinese Medicine Colledge,then divide them who met the inclusion criteria into three groups randomly.Group A was treated with“dehumidification and detoxification decoction plus or minus” combined with herbal wash,group B was treated with “dehumidification and detoxification decoction plus or minus”,group C was treated with“tinea tinea kasifu pill”.Take the medicine orally twice a day,warm after meals in the morning and evening;Use external medicine twice a day,apply it to the skin lesion in the morning and evening for 15 minutes.Record the skin lesion score,pruritus score,pain score and IL-8 content in the three groups before treatment and at the end of 4 weeks of treatment.Also record the adverse reactions of the patients during the treatment and evaluate the safety of the drugs.Results:A total of 114 patients with Palmoplantar Pustulosis who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled.During the treatment,one patient in group A and group C fell off respectively.So the actual number of completed cases was 37 in group A,38 in group B,and 37 in group C.Compare before treatment with after treatment,the total effective rate was 89.2%in group A,73.7% in group B,and 73.0% in group C.The efficiency of group A was significantly better than that of group B and C,P<0.05,there were significant differences.The skin lesion score,itch score and pain score were all decreased significantly,and the improvement degree of group A was significantly higher than that of group B and group C,P<0.05,showing statistically significant difference.The laboratory index interleukin-8 was decreased,and the reduction degree of group A was significantly better than that in group B and C,with statistically differences.During the treatment,adverse reactions showed:there was 1 patient with diarrhea,1 patient with nausea and 1 patient with insomnia in group A;1 patient with diarrhea,1 patient with nausea and 1 patient with dry skin in group B;3 patient withdiarrhea,1 patient with nausea,1 patient with dry skin and 1 patient with palpitation in group C.After communication with patients,we know that the adverse reactions were independent of drug dosage and composition.After being given correct clinical guidance,patients’ symptoms were alleviated or disappeared without affecting normal clinical studies.Conclusions:1.“dehumidification and detoxification decoction plus or minus”combined with herbal wash can effectively improve the symptoms of palmoplantar pustulosis patients.Compared with the oral “dehumidification and detoxification decoction plus or minus” alone or “tinea tinea kasifu pill”,the clinical effect of“dehumidification and detoxification decoction plus or minus”is significant.2.“dehumidification and detoxification decoction plus or minus”combined with herbal wash has the advantage of less adverse reactions and higher safety,it is a safe and effective treatment.
