Objective:To observe the constitution of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and oxygen saturation(SO2)of retina vessels in myopia patients and normal people,and to study the correlation between TCM constitution type and retinal oxygen saturation in traditional Chinese medicine of myopia patients.Methods:87 cases of myopia and 20 normal persons were included,including 26,36 and 25 cases of low,middle and high myopia.The"Classification and Judgment Form of Constitution of TCM"was filled in.The axial length data were obtained by IOL Master 500,and the retinal oxygen saturation data were collected by Oxymap T1 retinal oximeter.SPSS 24.0 was used to analyze data.Results:1.There was no significant difference in constitution ratio between the two groups(P>0.05).The most biased constitutions in myopia group were Yang-deficiency constitution(20.69%),phlegm-dampness constitution(17.24%)and yin-deficiency constitution(14.94%).2.The average arterial oxygen saturation(SAO2,93.95±3.74%)and SAO2 in the inferior temporal quadrant(89.43±5.67%)in myopia group was significantly lower than that of normal group(96.76±2.60%and 94.65±7.29%,respectively,P<0.05);the average venous oxygen saturation(SVO2,55.68±6.88%)and SVO2 in the superior nasal quadrant(59.15±8.69%)in myopia group was significantly lower than that of normal group(58.52±4.19%and 63.81±4.96%,respectively,P<0.05).3.The average SAO2 in moderate myopia group(52.42±8.13%)was lower than that in low myopia group(58.88±4.27%)and high myopia group(57.06±5.03%)(P<0.05),and the average difference of retinal arteriovenous oxygen saturation(A-V)in moderate myopia group(41.16±7.02%)was higher than that in low myopia group(36.32±4.47%)and high myopia group(36.12±4.05%)(P<0.05).4.The average SO2 of Yang-deficiency and Yin-deficiency in myopia group had no significant change compared with that of normal constitution in myopia group(P>0.05).The average SAO2 of phlegm-dampness in myopia group (60.64±3.25%)was higher than that of normal constitution in myopia group (56.03±5.68%)(P<0.05),and the average A-V(34.12±2.79%)was lower than that of normal constitution(37.90±5.29%)(P<0.05).5.The average SAO2 and SVO2 were negatively correlated with axial length (R=-0.382,P<0.05;R=-0.264,P<0.05),but average retinal A-V was not significantly correlated with axial length(R=0.053,P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The most biased constitutions in myopia group are Yang-deficiency constitution,phlegm-dampness constitution and Yin-deficiency constitution.2.The SO2 of retina vessels in myopia patients is lower than that in normal subjects,which may be related to the ischemia of fundus,the decrease of blood flow,and slowdown of blood speed in myopia eyes.3.There are differences in SO2 of retina vessels among myopia patients with different constitutional types of TCM,suggesting that TCM constitution has certain practicability in fundus diseases.4.The SO2 of retina vessels is negatively correlated with axial length. |
