Objective: This study combines the concept of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)to compare the effects of different treatments on patients undergoing complete laparoscopic radical surgery for distal gastric cancer during perioperative period. Methods: Sixty patients underwent complete laparoscopic radical surgery for distal gastric cancer at the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery,Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from 2017.06-2018.10.The patients were randomly divided into ERAS treatment group and traditional treatment group(Control group),30 patients in each group.Complete laparoscopic radical surgery for distal gastric cancer was performed in both groups, and the surgery was performed by the same treatment group.Observation indicators: the first postoperative exhaust time, postoperative outpatient activity time, postoperative complications(including nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, postoperative infection, etc.),discharge time, and pain level score for 3 consecutive days after surgery(VAS score),blood samples were taken before and the first and third day after surgery to detect changes in C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),insulin levels, fasting blood glucose, and insulin resistance, and then draw conclusions based on the results. Results:Patients undergoing complete laparoscopic radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer were treated with enhanced recovery after surgery in the perioperative period, compared with traditional treatment, the first postoperative exhaust time, the first postoperative time to get out of bed,and the total postoperative treatment time were shortened. The difference between the groups was significant(P < 0.05);Postoperative pain and the degree of stress response were all relieved, the difference between the groups was obvious(P<0.05);The incidence of postoperative complications did not increase, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: According to this study, patients undergoing complete laparoscopic radical gastrectomy for distal gastric cancer, applying the concept of enhanced recovery after surgery during perioperative period, can alleviate the perioperative stress response, promote the early recovery of patients, and discharge earlier, provide effective help for patients with gastric cancer. It also provides a reference for the application of perioperative ERAS and further promotes it.
