Objective:The expression of estrogen receptor α、estrogen receptor β and activator protein-1 in endometrial polyps and their correlation in endometrial polyps were detected.Methods:1.Twenty cases of endometrial polyps and 20 cases of endometrium in the normal proliferative period were selected for pathological diagnosis after hysteroscopy.The expression levels of ERα,ERβ and C-jun in the polyp tissue and endometrium in the proliferative period were determined by immunohistochemistry.2.The expression levels of ER,ER and c-jun in the above tissues were measured by western blot.Results:1.Immunohistochemical results: The ERα,C-jun and ERα/ERβ scores in the experimental group(5.25±0.96,1.70±0.86,1.32±0.55)were higher than those in the control group(3.45±1.60,1.15±0.67,0.72±0.40),the ERβ score of the experimental group(4.30±1.05)was lower than that of the control group(5.25±1.20),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05).The ERα/ERβscores in the experimental group were positively correlated with the C-jun score(r=0.754,p<0.001).There was no significant correlation between the ERα/ERβ score and the C-jun score in the control group(r=0.258,p=0.271).2.Western blot: The relative expression levels of ERα,C-jun and ERα/ERβ in theexperimental group(0.58±0.06,0.81±0.05,1.36±0.26,respectively)were higher than the relative expressions of ERα,C-jun and ERα/ERβ in the control group(respectively0.38±0.01,0.50±0.05,0.59±0.02);the relative expression of ERβ in the experimental group(0.42±0.05)was lower than the relative expression of ERβ in the control group(0.64±0.01),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05).There was a positive correlation between the relative expression of C-jun and the relative expression of ERα/ERβ in the experimental group(r=0.524,p=0.018).There was no significant correlation between the relative expression of C-jun and the relative expression of ERα/ERβ in the control group.(r=0.114 p=0.633).Conclusion:1.Compared with the proliferative endometrium,the expression of ERα is dominant in the endometrial polyp tissue,while the expression of ERβ is decreased,and ERα plays a more important role in the production of endometrial polyps.2.Compared with the proliferative endometrium,C-jun expression was enhanced in the endometrial polyp tissue,which was involved in the occurrence of endometrial polyps.3.In endometrial polyp tissues,ERα /ERβ is positively correlated with C-jun,and ERαplays an important role in the activation and regulation of AP-1.
