Objective:To investigate the level of serum IL-17 in patients with hypertension and type 2diabetes mellitus(EH),type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and hypertension combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus(EH+T2DM)and its related factors,and to explore the level of serum IL-17 in patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus,and then to evaluate the formation risk of atherosclerosis,making it more early to prevent.Methods:1.From June 2017 to September 2018,240 physical examinees in the physical examination center of the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University were selected and divided into control group(NC)30 cases(except hypertension and type 2 diabetes),hypertension group(EH)78 cases,type 2 diabetes group(T2DM)70 cases,hypertension and type 2 diabetes group(EH + T2DM)62 cases.The liver and kidney functions(ALT,AST,Cr,BUN),blood lipids(TG,TC,LDL,HDL)and other routine biochemical tests were performed on all subjects.Serum IL-17 levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).2.Combined with EH group and EH+T2DM group,according to《The 2018 guidelines for the prevention and treatment of hypertension in China》,Grade 1 hypertension was considered as mild,grade 2 and grade 3 as moderate and severe,which were divided into mild hypertension and hypertensive diabetes.Moderate and severe hypertension and hypertensive diabetes;Combined with T2 DM group and EH+T2DM group,according to《The 2017 guidelines for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes in China》,HbA1C≥ 8% was taken as the standard scale,which was dividedinto diabetes mellitus with poor blood glucose control,diabetes mellitus and hypertension.Diabetes mellitus and diabetic hypertension with good blood glucose control.To explore the level of IL-17 in each group.Results:1.The level of IL-17 in EH group [(334.26±41.40)pg/mL],T2 DM group[(347.26±35.66)pg/mL],EH + T2 DM group [(415.09±68.53)pg/mL] was significantly higher than NC group [(227.33±19.60)pg/mL],with significant difference(P < 0.05);the level of IL-17 in EH + T2 DM group was higher than that in EH group and T2 DM group,with significant difference(P < 0.05);there was no different means between EH group and T2 DM group in serum IL-17 level(P > 0.05);2.The levels of IL-17 in EH+T2DM group with moderate and severe hypertension[(438.54±52.97)pg/mL] were significantly higher than those in EH group with mild hypertension [(298.71±33.38)pg/mL],EH+T2DM group [(326.94±24.46)pg/mL],and EH group with moderate and severe hypertension [(358.61±25.78)pg/mL],with significant difference(P<0.05);3.The level of IL-17 in EH group with moderate and severe hypertension[(358.61±25.78)pg/mL] was higher than that in EH group with mild hypertension[(298.71±33.38)pg/mL],EH+T2DM group [(326.94±24.46)pg/mL],with significant difference(P<0.05);4.The level of IL-17 in the group of T2DM+EH with poor glycemic control[(413.03±68.58)pg/mL] was higher than that in the group of T2 DM with good glycemic control [(330.45±39.81)pg/mL] and the group of T2 DM with poor glycemic control[(340.55 ±32.73)pg/mL],with significant difference(P < 0.05);5.The level of IL-17 in the group of T2DM+EH with better blood glucose control[(398.84±73.67)pg/mL] was higher than that in the group of T2 DM with better blood glucose control [(330.45±39.81)pg/mL] and the group of T2 DM with poorer blood glucose control [(340.55±32.73)pg/mL],with significant difference(P<0.05);6.Serum IL-17 level was correlated with SBP,DBP and HbA1 C.Conclusion:Serum IL-17 level is significantly increased in patients with hypertension,type 2diabetes and hypertension combined with type 2 diabetes,which is the inducing factor of atherosclerosis and plays a certain role in the assessment of the risk of atherosclerosis. |
