Objective:To investigate the expression of neuromedin U(NMU)in nasal mucosa and nasal polyps of patients with allergic rhinitis(AR)and its effect on the pathogenesis of AR.Secondly,to investigate the expression of group 2 innate lymphoid cells(ILC2s)in nasal mucosa and nasal polyps of patients with AR.Methods:Twenty cases of unilateral inferior turbinate diagnosed as AR,20 cases of normal inferior turbinate as control, and 20 cases of unilateral nasal polyps of AR patients were selected. All the specimens were divided into two parts, one was fixed with formalin tissue fixation fluid、Paraffin embedded and stained with HE and immunohistochemistry.Another part of fresh tissue was stained with immunofluorescence after frozen sections to detect the expression of NMU in the samples, and to explore the morphology and expression of ILC2 s in each specimen.Results:1.Immunohistochemical staining showed that the expression of NMU in nasal mucosa and nasal polyps of AR patients was significantly higher than that of normal controls.2.Immunofluorescence staining showed that the expression of NMU in the nasal mucosa of AR patients was significantly higher than that of the normal group.3.The expression of ILC2 s in normal nasal mucosa and nasal mucosa of ARpatients and nasal polyps of AR patients were not detected and could not be compared by immunohistochemical staining and immunofluorescence staining. Conclusion:The increased expression of NMU in nasal mucosa and nasal polyps in AR patients suggests that NMU plays an important role in the pathogenesis of AR.And the detection of ILC2 s in nasal mucosa by immunohistochemical staining and immunofluorescence staining still needs to be further improved and explored. |
