Professor Hu Ke’s Clinical Experience In Treating Diarrhea

Objective:In order to inherit and carry forward the academic thoughts of famous and old Chinese medicine,this paper summarizes Professor Hu Ke’s dialectical thinking and methods of treating diarrhea,and the acteristics of prescription selection and medication.Diarrhea is one of spleen and stomach diseases.It summarizes Professor Hu Ke’s experience in treating diarrhea,enriches his theory of spleen and stomach system,and promotes the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:In this study,206 patients with diarrhea who met the diagnostic requirements were selected for clinical treatment and observation.Referring to relevant literature and clinical experience of tutors,the related factors of cases were studied.From the statistics of the distribution of diarrhea’s disease,location and syndrome type,this paper summarizes the characteristics of Professor Hu Ke’s syndrome differentiation and treatment of diarrhea and the experience of prescription medication,with a view to providing new ideas and methods for clinical practice.Results:1.Statistics of the frequency of diarrhea: no dampness,no diarrhea,dampness is the key factor of diarrhea.However,besides damp pathogen,diarrhea can also be caused by other pathogens.According to thestatistics of 206 cases,the majority of diarrhea-related diseases are cold and heat,including cold and heat,wind,cold and heat,depression,cold and heat accumulation,totally 121 cases,accounting for 58.74% of the total.Therefore,cold and heat inclusion is the most common clinical diarrhea disease.2.Statistics of the frequency of diarrhea: the root of diarrhea is the spleen and stomach.According to the statistics of 206 cases,diarrhea is most closely related to the spleen,stomach and liver,and 98 cases are related to the liver and spleen,including the spleen and liver,spleen,liver and large intestine,spleen,liver and gall,spleen,kidney,stomach and large intestine,spleen,liver and gall,accounting for 47.57% of the total,while spleen,kidney,spleen and lung,accounting for only 4.85%and 1.94% respectively.3.Statistics of the frequency of diarrhea syndrome types: 206 diarrhea cases,the top five syndrome types were stomach-heat and spleen-cold type,liver-spleen disharmony type,liver-spleen vigorous and spleen deficiency type,cold-heat mixed type,spleen-cold and intestine-heat type,Gallbladder-heat and spleen-cold type,respectively,53 cases,47 cases,42 cases,19 cases,7 cases,accounting for 25.73%,22.82%,20.39%,9.22%,3.40% of the total number.It can be seen that diarrhea syndrome was mostly cold-heat mixed with liver.The spleen is the closest.Conclusions:Through sorting out,it is found that Professor Hu Ke’s thought of treating diarrhea is flexible in differentiation of symptoms and signs and various methods;the combination of differentiation of symptoms and signs of eight classes,viscera and six meridians;good use of classical prescriptions and combination of time and prescriptions;the occurrence of diarrhea is closely related to dysfunction of viscera,feeling ofexternal pathogens,inappropriate diet,emotional injury and excessive work and leisure.The origin of diarrhea is from the spleen and stomach,because the spleen and stomach share the same qi,accept the same luck,combine dryness and dampness,and ascend and descend,the spleen and stomach are harmonious,but they are closely related to liver and gallbladder,qi-regulating,lung-qi descending,heart-fire warming and kidney-qi-solid uptake,but they are most closely related to the liver;Neijing says that "the essence is yang-ming,while the deficiency is Taiyin",so the spleen and stomach disease has "cold-heat mixture,deficiency and excess are mutually reinforcing".Because of its pathological characteristics,diarrhea is influenced by many factors,most of which are cold-heat deficiency and excess.Professor Hu Ke believes that the diagnosis and treatment of diarrhea should be flexible and diverse,follow the classics,run through the ancient and modern times,integrate the prescriptions and time,unify the differentiation of six meridians and viscera,and combine the differentiation of syndromes and diseases.This paper systematically describes Professor Hu Ke’s thinking of treating diarrhea based on syndrome differentiation and clinical experience of prescribing drugs,which is of great significance in expanding clinical practice,improving clinical efficacy,inheriting and developing academic experience of famous and old Chinese medicine.
