Objectives The liver volume was measured by manual method(scraping method)by multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT)scan and MRI scan. The results were compared with the drainage method to evaluate the accuracy of the two in liver volume measurement.Clinical application value in measuring liver volume and measuring liver volume by other means. Methods For patients who underwent partial hepatectomy in Hebei Provincial People’s Hospital from August 2017 to December 2018,MSCT scan and MRI scan were performed at the same time. The volume of the resected tissue was measured by drainage method according to the actual operation. The MSCT and MRI examination data were used to measure the volume of the excised part. The number of eligible people is 19.There were 12 males and 7 females. The acquired MSCT and MRI examination data were transmitted to the Neusoft diagnostic imaging workstation V5.5.According to the actual resection in the operation, the volume of the actual excision part of the MSCT and MRI was calculated by the manual method(the outline method),and the result was measured by the drainage method. The results are compared. Results 1.The resected liver volume(median)measured by drainage method(median)400.0(180.0,542.0)cm3,the median resected liver volume measured by MRI was(median)405.93(165.09,499.3)cm3,measured by MSCT The median volume of liver resection was(median)436.17(172.54,524.85)cm3.2.The paired data t-test of liver volume and liver volume measured by MRI(t=-1.49,P=0.15),the difference was not statistical.Significance,correlation(R=0.99,P<0.01),the two were highly correlated;3.MSCT measured liver volume and drainage method for measuring liver volume by paired data t test(t=0.08,P=0.94),both There was no significant difference in the correlation(R=0.99,P<0.01),and they were highly correlated.4.Paired data t-test of liver volume and MSCT measured liver volume by MRI(t=1.29,P=0.21)There was no significant difference between the two,and the correlation(R=0.99,P<0.01),the two were highly correlated. Conclusions 1.This experiment confirmed that CT and MRI can accurately measure liver volume by manual method.2.MRI has obvious advantages in soft tissue display, biliary tract and vascular imaging, and the development of MRI functional imaging also helps. To assess liver reserve function and provide more accurate information for liver surgery,MRI is expected to become an "integrated" examinati on of hepatobiliary surgery.Figure 8;Table 2;Reference 150...
