| Sepsis is defined as life-threatening organ dysfunction due to a dysregulated host response to infection.In recent years,the success rate of the treatment of sepsis has obviously improved,but most of the sepsis survivors have cognitive dysfunction.The sepsis induced cognitive impairment seriously affects the quality of life of patients,significantly increases the costs of nursing care and medical expenses,and imposes a great burden on the family and society.Therefore,it is of great clinical value and social significance to pay attention to early clinical signs,pathogenesis and prevention strategies of sepsis induced cognitive impairment,and to intervene early to improve its prognosis. |
