Clinical Observation Of Huanglianwendan Decoction And Taohong Siwu Decoction In The Treatment Of Ventricular Premature Complexes Of Phlegm-heat And Blood Stasis Type

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Huanglian Wendan Decoction combined with Taohong Siwu Decoction in treating ventricular premature beats of phlegm-heat and blood stasis t ype.Methods: In this study,40 patients with phlegm-heat and blood stasis type of premature ventricular contraction were randoml y selected b y case series stud y method.Huanglian Wendan Decoction and Taohong Siwu Decoction were given for 4 weeks.The therapeutic effects of Huanglian Wendan Decoction and Taohong Siwu Decoction on prematu re ventricular contraction of phlegm-heat and blood stasis t ype were preliminaril y observed with 24-hour ambulator y electrocardiogram,total score of TCM s ymptoms and single s ymptom score as therapeutic indicators.Results:1.Number of premature ventricular beats: 24-hour ambulator y electrocardiogram statistics showed that the number of premature beats decreased significantl y after treatment,and there was significant difference in the number of premature beats before and af ter treatment(P < 0.05).2.Curative effect of premature ventricular beats: The total effective rate after treatment of premature ventricular beats was 77.5%.3.Total score of TCM s ymptoms: After treatment,the total score of TCM s ymptoms decreased b y 7.48±3.53,and there was significant difference in total score of TCM s ymptoms before and after treatment(P < 0.05).4.Total curative effect of s yndrome: After treatment,40 cases of premature ventricular contraction,3 cases were cured,13 cases were markedl y effective,19 cases were effective,5 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 87.5%.5.Single s ymptom integral of TCM: Before and after treatment,th e scores of TCM s ymptoms decreased,with stat istical significance(P < 0.05).6.Curative effect of single s ymptoms of TCM: After treatment,the effective rate of single s ymptoms of TCM was 70.4%~81.2%.The s ymptoms of palpitation,chest tightness,shortness of breath,chest pain and other s ymptoms were improved significantl y.Conclusion:Huanglian Wendan Decoction combined with Taohong Siwu Decoction can improve 24-hour ambulator y ECG ventricular premature beat frequency,total score of TCM s ymptoms and single s ymptom score of patients with phlegm-heat and blood stasis t ype ventricular premature beat,and has good curative effect.
