Meta Analysis Of Radiofrequency Ablation For The Treatment Of Right Ventricular Outflow Tract Idiopathic Ventricular Premature Beats

Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect of Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation on right ventricular outflow tract(RVOT)idiopathic premature ventricular Contractions(PVC).Methods: The mean difference(M±SD)of symptom improving the treatment in PVC quantity、PVC burden and LVEF value before and after Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation were selected by using to search and screen the published literature.The data were extracted for summarizing all the studies,calculating the MD and its 95%confidence interval(95%CI),and testing the over all effects by RevMan5.2.Both publication bias analysis and sensit ivity analysis were performed for evaluating the reliability and stability of the meta-analysis.Results: 16 literatures,totally 249 cases,were obtained.In PVc quantity,Some heterogeneity were discovered between the studies(P<0.00001).Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation may significantly relieve the symptom of patients in PVC quantity from RVOT.Its MD and 95%C1 was-29917(CI:-31460 to 28374,P<0.00001).In PVC burden,Some heterogeneity were discovered between the studies(P<0.00001).Its MD and 95%C1 was-24.07(CI:-25.23 to-22.91,P<0.00001).In LVEF,Some heter og eneity were discovered between the studies(P<0.00001).Its MD and 95%C1 was 10.93(CI: 9.47to12.4,P<0.00001).The results of sensitiviy analysis and publication bias analysis accounted for the reliability and one studies had publication bias of this meta-analysis.Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation also played a role in improving the patient’s symptoms,LVESD,and LVEDD reduction according to the results of the literatures.Conclusion: RFCA can significantly relieve symptoms,reduce the number of PVC,improve the heart function.It is a better method for PVC from RVOT treatment.
