The Effect Of Targeted Information Support On The Illness Uncertainty And Anxiety In Patients With Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss | Posted on:2020-05-05 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Y Liu | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2404330590464832 | Subject:Nursing | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective: Taking the patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss(SSHL)in a third-grade hospital in Hebei Province as the research object,we explored the effect of targeted information support on the illness uncertainty and anxiety of patients with SSHL,providing a theoretical basis for clinical development of personalized nursing and health education.Methods: We used a convenient sampling method to select 80 patients with SSHL who were admitted to the hospital from February 2018 to November 2018 in a third-grade hospital in Hebei Province,divided into 40 cases in the control group and the intervention group.The control group received routine care,and the intervention group was given a nursing model supported by targeted information.The general data questionnaire and the KAP questionnaire for SSHL patient and the illness uncertainty scale as well as the anxiety self-rating scale were used for the two groups of patients at the time of admission and discharge.Results:1.The illness uncertainty(78.68±7.82)and anxiety level(58.61±4.41)of the control group of the patients with SSHL received routine health education decreased at the time of discharge(P<0.05);The illness uncertainty(71.34± 8.16)and anxiety level(53.76±4.25)of patients in the intervention group supported by targeted information decreased significantly at discharge(P<0.05).2.There was no significant difference(P>0.05)in illness uncertainty and anxiety between the two groups of patients with SSHL at admission.At discharge,the degree of illness uncertainty and anxiety of SSHL patients with targeted information support was significantly lower than that of patients with SSHL who were only given regular health education(P<0.05).3.The pearson correlation coefficient between illness uncertainty and anxiety score in patients with SSHL was 0.906,(P<0.01).4.After giving targeted information support,the KAP scores of the intervention group were better than the control group in patients with SSHL(P<0.05).5.The KAP scores of the intervention group were better than those before the intervention(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Targeted information support can reduce the illness uncertainty and anxiety level than conventional health education in patients with SSHL.Targeted nursing measures should be given for patients with SSHL.2.There is a significant correlation between illness uncertainty and anxiety in patients with SSHL.Targeted interventions should be taken to reduce the patient’s level of illness uncertainty to alleviate the patient’s anxiety.3.The use of targeted information support can effectively improve the level of KAP of patients with SSHL. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Sudden sensorineural hearing loss, Targeted Information Support, Illness Uncertainty, Anxiety, Knowledge-attitude-practice(KAP) | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
