Analysis On Health Status Of Workers In A Textile Dyeing And Printing Enterprise In Yixing

Objective:Textile printing and dyeing industry is an industry with serious occupational hazards.Workers in some posts have been working in the harsh environment of dust,noise and high temperature for a long time,which has caused varying degrees of damage to their bodies.In this paper,the data of occupational health surveillance of workers in a textile printing and dyeing enterprise in Yixing were analyzed to understand the health status of workers in the textile printing and dyeing enterprise,and the influencing factors of abnormal occupational health related physical examination items were analyzed.The research results have certain guiding significance for formulating targeted preventive measures and improving the health level of workers.Methods:The data of occupational health surveillance of 2258 workers in a textile printing and dyeing enterprise in Yixing from 2013 to 2017 were collected.The results of physical examination were summarized and the influencing factors of abnormal occupational health related items were analyzed.Microsoft Excel software was used to create the database,and SAS9.4 was used to analyze the data.χ~2 test was used to analyze the single factor of pulmonary dysfunction,chest X-ray abnormality,hearing abnormality,electrocardiogram abnormality,hypertension and hyperglycemia respectively,and then non-conditional logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the multiple factors.Results:(1)A total of 1 suspected occupational noise deafness and 94 occupational contraindications were found in the physical examination results of 2258 employees in the enterprise.Occupation contraindication workers accounted for 4.16%of the physical examination workers(94/2258).(2)The main abnormal items of physical examination were mainly pulmonary function,liver ultrasonography,hearing,electrocardiogram,gallbladder ultrasonography,blood pressure,chest X-ray photography,blood glucose,alanine transaminase.The abnormal detection rates were 60.60%,31.50%,26.69%,21.38%,18.15%,13.39%,12.85%,12.52%,10.67%,respectively.The detection rate of hyperglycemia was 12.31%.(3)The detection rate of harmful factors exposure related items was as follows:369 workers were exposed to cotton dust,212 of whom received lung function test,129 had abnormal lung function,the detection rate was 60.85%;65 of 369 workers exposed to cotton dust had abnormal chest X-ray photography,the abnormal rate was 17.62%.Among the workers who have been exposed to noise,353 have received hearing and electrocardiogram tests,103 and89 have detected abnormalities,the detection rates are 29.18%and 25.21%,respectively.Among them,340 have received blood pressure measurements,76 have detected hypertension,and the detection rate of hypertension is 22.35%.Of the 214 workers who have been exposed to high temperature,208 of them received blood pressure measurements,47(22.60%)were found to have hypertension,and 214 were tested for blood sugar,of which 28(13.08%)were found to have hyperglycemia.(4)The analysis of influencing factors of occupational health related detection items showed that age was an independent influencing factor of pulmonary dysfunction,chest X-ray abnormality,hearing abnormality,hypertension and hyperglycemia.Gender was an independent influencing factor of pulmonary dysfunction,hypertension,chest X-ray abnormality,hearing abnormality and electrocardiogram abnormality.Noise is the independent influencing factor of hypertension and abnormal electrocardiogram.Marriage is the independent influencing factor of abnormal electrocardiogram.Drinking is the independent influencing factor of hypertension.Length of service is the independent influencing factor of abnormal chest X-ray photography.Conclusion:The results of occupational health surveillance data show that the main abnormal items of physical examination and the detection rate were lung function(60.60%),liver ultrasonography(31.50%),hearing(26.69%),electrocardiogram(21.38%),gallbladder ultrasonography(18.15%),blood pressure(13.39%),chest X-ray photography(12.85%),blood glucose(12.52%),alanine aminotransferase(10.67%).The overall health level of the employees was not optimistic.Multivariate analysis shows that noise is an intervening hazard factor affecting the health of workers.Enterprises,workers and relevant departments should formulate effective measures to protect the health of workers from many aspects.Occupational health surveillance is very important for preventing and controlling occupational diseases.
