Objective:Using modern epidemiological investigation and statistics methods to explore the distribution of TCM syndromes and related factors of endometriosis patients, and to summarize the correlation between the two. Methods:From January 2017 to December 2018,201 patients with endometriosis diagnosed by laparoscopy in the gynecological inpatient department and outpatient department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as subjects.Through the form of questionnaire survey, the general data of age, educational background, occupation, blood type,BMI,related medical history and four diagnostic information of TCM were collected.SPSS 21.0 software was used to analyze the data by frequency analysis, cluster analysis,Pearson2 test,non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis H test and other statistical methods. The distribution of TCM syndromes in patients with endometriosis and the correlation between TCM syndromes and related factors were discussed.Results:1.The high risk factors of endometriosis are:childbearing age, high education, mental work(teachers, doctors, clerks, etc.),fami ly history of EM,dysmenorrhea, premenstrual menstruation, excessive menstruation, incisive menstruation, uterine cavity operation history, bad habits of menstruation, dietary preference and emotional disorder.2.The TCM syndromes of 201 cases were divided into six categories, according to the frequency, they were qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome(56 cases,27.9%),kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome(46 cases,22.9%),damp-heat stasis syndrome(34 cases,16.9%),Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome(29 cases,14.4%),cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome(23 cases,11.4%)and phlegm-blood stasis syndrome(13 cases,6.5%).Among them, the incidence of infertility in patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome was the highest,a total of 28 cases, accounting for 45.2%.3.The distribution of TCM syndromes in patients with endometriosis was significantly correlated with age, educational background, occupation,BMI,dietary preferences, emotional status, dysmenorrhea degree, course of disease and clinical stages(p<0.05).Among them,35-44 years old and 45-54 years old patients mainly suffered from Qi deficiency and blood stasis, kidney deficiency and blood stasis, while 25-34 years old patients mainly suffered from Qi stagnation and blood stasis,damp-heat stasis, cold coagulation and blood stasis, phlegm and blood stasis. The patients with mild or normal body type mainly suffered from qi stagnation and blood stasis, kidney deficiency and blood stasis, while the patients with overweight body type mainly suffered from phlegm and blood stasis and damp-heat stasis.Patients with a long course of disease are mainly characterized by Qi deficiency and blood stasis, kidney deficiency and blood stasis, while patients with a short course are mainly characterized by damp-heat and blood stasis,Qi stagnation and blood stasis, cold coagulation and blood stasis, phlegm and blood stasis.Severe dysmenorrhea patients mainly suffer from cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome, while mild dysmenorrhea patients mainly suffer from Qi deficiency and blood stasis, kidney deficiency and blood stasis,qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome.Patients with stage Ⅰ clinical stage were mainly qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome.Patients with stageⅢ and Ⅳ clinical stage were mainly qi deficiency and blood stasis, kidney deficiency and blood stasis, and phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.Conclusion:1.Childbearing age, high education, mental work occupation, family history of EM,dysmenorrhea, premenstrual menstruation, excessive menstruation, incisive menstruation, uterine cavity operation history, bad habits during menstruation, dietary preference and emotional disorder may be risk factors for EM.2.The common TCM syndromes of patients with endometriosis are qi stagnation and blood stasis, kidney deficiency and blood stasis,damp-heat stasis,Qi deficiency and blood stasis, cold coagulation and blood stasis, phlegm and blood stasis, and infertility is more common in EM patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis.3.Age,education,occupation,BMI,dietary preference, emotional status, degree of dysmenorrhea, duration of disease and clinical stages may affect the distribution of TCM syndromes in patients with endometriosis. |
