| Objective: This article is based on the development history and status quo of online pharmacies in China.It uses the experiences in the development process of developed pharmacies in the developed countries to learn from them and analyzes the current status and existing problems of online pharmacies in China.Aiming at the factors that hinder the development of online pharmacies in China,we have formulated comprehensive measures to promote the development of online pharmacies in China.Methods: In the course of the research,literature research methods,data collection methods,real-time investigation methods,questionnaire survey methods,and graphic methods were used to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the development of online pharmacies in China.First of all,through the HowNet,Wei Pu and other sites to collect relevant literature materials for reading and comparison,the collection of domestic and foreign online pharmacies in the development of the same and differences,with their own views to sum up,to achieve the summary of problems and outline.Then,through on-site visits and research of relevant pharmaceutical companies that develop online pharmacies,they can grasp the current development situation and direction,identify problems from actual operations,and discuss opinions and suggestions for promoting the development of online pharmacies.Finally,using the various data obtained through interviews and investigations,tables,charts,etc.were produced for intuitive display and system analysis.Results: As of March 28,2017,a total of 678 online pharmacies were approved throughout the country.In the process of development of online pharmacies in China,the policy regulations for online pharmacies are constantly changing,which has an impact on the development direction of online pharmacies.China’s online pharmacies have the business expansion coverage that cannot be achieved by physical pharmacies,and they touch the market to radiate across the country.However,there are still some shortages in operations,mainly due to the lack of professional practitioners and perfect systems for medical e-commerce.The online medical trading business has not yet been interconnected with the medical insurance policy,and the prohibition of online sales of prescription drugs has constrained the expansion rate of online pharmacies.At the same time,online pharmacies have problems of varying degrees in terms of supervision,legal regulations,publicity,and logistics channels,and they are determined to formulate effective countermeasures.Conclusions: Although China’s online pharmacies are thriving,they still have a certain gap compared with developed countries.The interaction of policies,laws,economics,technology,social culture and other factors has caused a certain impact on the development of online pharmacies in China.The adoption of correct response measures can ensure the healthy development of online pharmacies.For the problems existing in the development of online pharmacies in China,it is necessary to implement targeted development strategies: establish a professional operation team,adopt a diversified business model,improve the logistics distribution system,and strengthen the supervision and propaganda of online pharmacies.The online purchase of drugs will be incorporated into the medical insurance system and online sales of prescription drugs will be promoted;and a multi-pronged approach will jointly ensure the sustainable development of online pharmacies in China. |
