Children's health status and medical security issues are important areas of concern and research in many developing countries. The health status of children affects the development of individuals, families and society. It is the basic task of the country to improve the social medical security system for children. It has a very important impact on the healthy growth of children in the future and the stable development of the country. Therefore, research on medical insurance is of great significance to the healthy growth of children, not only can effectively understand the role of medical insurance in the healthy growth of children, but also Can effectively avoid the risk of missing medical insurance.By combing the previous research on the factors affecting children's health,we screened the confounding factors from the three aspects of children's own, internal environment and external environment, and selected three types of indicators that represent long-term,short-term and recent health status according to domestic and international evaluation indicators for children's health.Based on the theoretical research on the impact of medical insurance on children's health at home and abroad, based on the four rounds of national sample survey data of the China Health and Nutrition Survey(CHNS)in 2004,2006,2009 and 2011,based on the propensity score method.Using the probit model to reduce dimensionality of multidimensional covariates, creating a quasi-randomized environment, forming an effective match between the intervention group and the control group, thereby using medical insurance as an intervention variable to study its intervention effect on children's physical health, and In order to further analyze the intervention effect of medical insurance on the health status of different children,it is divided into four aspects: children's age, family income, mother's education level and economic region. The results show that for the observational data, the data itself does have sample selectivity bias, and the difference between the insured group and the uninsured group is significant. The propensity score method can better balance the sample selectivity compared with the least squares regression.Deviation, and solve endogenous problems, and research shows that medical insurance has a positive effect on children's short-term,short-term and long-term health status, although there is no obvious effect on the improvement of children's four-week prevalence, there is a certain number of sick days. The reduction,short-term nutritional status and long-term growth and development have some improvement. In terms of children's age structure, the improvement of children's short-term health status is most obvious, and the improvement effect on children's health decreases with age.In terms of family income, since medical insurance can effectively give children subsidies,it is relative to higher-income families. The effect of getting medical insurance for children with lower incomes is greater. In general, from the four aspects of age structure, family income, mother education level and the four major economic regions, the results of stratification study show that the health effect of medical insurance on family social status compared with children with good family social status Poor children have a greater impact.
