Alzheimer’s disease(AD)has been widely known as a kind of neurodegenerative disease with unclarified etiology and pathogenesis, which is becoming one of the most problematic and costly diseases for the society.Since symptoms of AD are irreversible and incurable, effective prevention and early diagnosis of AD become more and more important for the disease intervention and management, and therefore it is in urgent need to find biomarkers for early diagnosis of AD.In the present study,we compared serum expression levels of six selected proteins A,B,C,D,E and F(protein names are kept anonymous due to patent application issues and confidentiality)based on our previous research among three groups of people by mean of Protein Slot Blotting. We found that Slot Blotting could highly increase the detection sensitivities for the proteins. We also found significant serum expression change of five proteins between Normal control(NC)and AD group, which is more signifinant when comparing NC with AD-mild group.Besides, different protein shows varied expression in diferent gender groups. Thus we suggest some of the screened proteins could be potential diagnosis biomarkers for AD of early stage.
