Part 1 The correlation between regional prostate cancer volume、prostate volume, relative prostate volume and prostate cancer invasivenessObjective:To explore the correlation between tumor volume, prostate volume, relative prostate volume and invasiveness of regional prostate cancer.Materials and Methods:A retrospective analysis of 50 prostatic cancer patients in Second affiliated hospital of Suzhou University, aged 50-90 years, with an average age of(72±8.4)years,was conducted between February 2015 and November 2017.According to the Gleason score, the cases were divided into low, medium and high risk groups.Firevoxel software was used to measure the volume of focal prostate cancer and prostate by hand-animated ROI,and the formula V relative prostate volume=V prostate cancer/V prostate-Variables analyzed included patient age, focal PCa tumor volume, prostate volume, relative prostate volume, and Gleason score.Variance analysis was performed on Vcancer focus,Vprostate and V relative prostate indicators in different groups(low, medium and high risk groups),and pairwise comparison was conducted between groups. Finally,Spearman correlation analysis was performed to determine the correlation between focal volume, prostate volume, relative prostate volume and Gleason score, respectively,in order to clarify the correlation between focal volume, prostate volume, relative prostate volume and PCa invasiveness.Results:1.Among the 50 patients with PCa:Gleason score was 6 in 17,7 in 19,8 in 7,and 9 in 7.Low-risk group(GS score ≤6 points)17 cases,medium-risk group(GS=7 points)19 cases,high-risk group(GS score≥ 8 points)14 cases.2.According to Gleason’s score,50 cases of PCa were divided into low, middle and high risk groups. The results showed that with the increase of Gleason’s score, the volume of prostate cancer increased gradually(V high risk group>V medium risk group>V low risk group). There was no significant difference in total prostate volume(F=9.374,p=0.0742)and relative prostate volume(V high-risk group>V medium-risk group>V low-risk group)between groups(F=10.367,p=0.0012).3.PCa tumor volume and relative prostate volume were positively correlated with Gleason score(Vtumor volume:r=0.742,p<0.001;V relative prostate volume:r=0.614,p<0.001;),while prostate volume was no correlated with Gleason score(r=0.392,p>0.05).Conclusion:Focal PCa’s tumor volume and relative prostate volume were positively correlated with Gleason score, which was helpful for preoperative evaluation of PCa’s aggressiveness(Gleason score),and could be used as an indicator of PCa intraoperative invasiveness.Part 2 Correlation between regional prostate cancer PSA,PSAD,PSA/Vtumor and tumor invasionObjective:To investigate the correlation between PSA,PSAD and PSA/Vtumor and the invasiveness of regional prostate cancer.Materials and Methods:From February 2015 to November 2017 in Second affiliated hospital of Suzhou University, the clinical, pathological and MP-MRI data of 50 patients with PCa who met the criteria for inclusion and exclusion in this study were retrospectively analyzed. The age ranged from 50 to 90 years with an average age of(72±8.4)years.Firevoxel software was used to measure the volume of focal prostate cancer and prostate by hand animation ROI.The variables analyzed included prostate volume, focal PCa tumor volume,PSA,PSAD and PSA/V prostate cancer. Finally,Spearman correlation analysis was performed for PSA,PSADand localized PCa tumor volume combined with PSA and Gleason score to clarify the correlation between these variables.Results:1.Among the 50 patients with PCa:Gleason score was 6 in 17,7 in 19,8 in 7,and 9 in 7.2.Spearman correlation analysis showed that PSA,PSAD were positively correlated with Gleason score(PSA:r=0.406,p<0.05;PSAD:r=0.362,;p<0.05);PSA/V tumor was positively correlated with Gleason score(r=0.584,p<0.05).Conclusion:Spearman correlation analysis showed that PSA,PSAD were positively correlated with Gleason score, and PSA/Vtuomor were positively correlated with Gleason score.PSA/V tuomor is helpful to evaluate the invasive(Gleason score)of preoperative PCa.PSA,PSAD and PSA/Vtumor.All contribute to the preoperative evaluation of PCa Gleason score, among which PSA/Vtumor and Gleason score have the best correlation, which can be used as the evalution index of PCa intraoperative invasiveness.
