Purpose1.The integration of new media technology into the new nurse clinical operation skills training and assessment methods provides a reference for the standardized training of new nurses.2.QQ,WeChat,video and other network and on-site media technology are integrated into the new nurse training and assessment to assist the new nurse in completing role transitions as soon as possible so as to adapt to clinical nursing work.MethodThis study selected a third-level general hospital in Wuhan as the study site. From May 1,2017 to August 1,2017,180 new nurses who met the criteria of this study were selected as the research objects.According to the method of random sampling, the subjects were divided into experimental group(90 persons)and control group(90 persons). There was no significant difference in general demographic data such as sex,age and education level between the two groups(P >0.05).The control group adopted the traditional teaching mode while the experimental group adopted the new media technology teaching mode during the training of clinical operation techniques.Questionnaire survey was used to investigate the basic conditions and self-efficacy of newly recruited nurses using the self-developed General Survey and the General Self-Efficacy Scale jointly developed by the German psychologist Schwarzer and colleagues. After the training, the scores were scored on the operating performance, and the differences between the two groups were compared. At the same time, the General Self-efficacy Scale and the Training Satisfaction Questionnaire were used for the evaluation of the nurses' training effects and training satisfaction.Six months after the new nurse entered the post, they were assessed using the Questionnaire of Nurse operation Satisfaction of Patients and the Job Satisfaction of Doctors to Nurses.Thesatisfaction of the two groups of subjects was analyzed and the effectiveness of the training was evaluated.SPSS 22.0 software was used to input and analyze the collected data. The analysis methods included the use of mean ± standard deviation in the description of quantitative data, and the description of the adoption rate or composition ratio of qualitative data.Qualitative data were compared using c(17)test and t-test.Result1.There was no significant difference between the two groups in sex, age, place of origin and whether they are the only child(P > 0.05).2.Before training, the score of self-efficacy of the new nurses in the control group was(2.41 ± 0.35),and the score of self-efficacy of the new nurses in the experimental group was(2.39 ± 0.25),the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After training, the total score of self-efficacy of two groups of nurses increased, while that of the control group was(2.67±0.24)and that of the experimental group was(2.88 ± 0.26).The score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).3.In the clinical nursing operation skills assessment,33(36.7%)were excellent in the clinical nurses' performance in the control group,52(57.8%)were qualified, and 5(5.6%)were unqualified;the experimental group which used new media technology for training,48(53.3%)were rated as excellent,40(36.0%)were qualified, and 2(2.2%)were unqualified. The rate of excellence and passing rate in the experimental group were higher than those of the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.After the training was over, the new nurses in the experimental group and the control group were surveyed using the Training Satisfaction Questionnaire. The results showed that the satisfaction rate of the new nurses in the experimental group was(96.86±5.74)points,and that of the new nurses in the control group was(91.25±6.14)points.There was a statistically significant difference between thetwo groups(t=4.132,P<0.01).5.6 Months after the intervention, the satisfaction degree of the patients and doctors in the research department was investigated. The results showed that the satisfaction rate of the new nurses in the experimental group was 96.45%,which was higher than that in the control group(95.05%).The satisfaction of the doctors to the new nurses in the experimental group was 97.46%,which was higher than that of the control group(95.57%).The difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).ConclusionThe integration of new media technologies in the training of clinical nursing operations skills for newly recruited nurses can improve the performance of nursing operations skills, improve self-efficacy,and patients and doctors' satisfaction with nurses. It is helpful for the new nurses to complete the transition from students to nurses and adapt to the clinical nursing work as soon as possible.
