| Research purposes: The purpose of this study was to get relevant frontier progress through literature analysis and case review,gather measures related to suicide prevention at home and abroad.Reviewed the cases of suicide patients in general hospitals and analyzed the possible physical environmental risk factors in hospital rooms and built a list of hospital standard environmental inspections.The questionnaire was used to investigate the general hospital and understood the current situation of the general hospital environment,so proposed safety measures to prevent suicide in hospitalized patients.It built a safe medical treatment for patients and also provided theoretical basis and empirical data for suicide-related research in China.It provided a reference for the prevention of suicide and other suicide correlation studies in hospitalized patients.Research method: First,using the literature analysis method,case review and group discussion,it initially established the questionnaire content of the general hospital standard environmental checklist questionnaire;the contents of the questionnaire would be improved to form a comprehensive hospital standard environmental checklist questionnaire through two rounds of expert consultation.Second,it investigated the departments of a top three hospital,a dimethyl hospital and a second hospital which used the formal general hospital standard environmental checklist questionnaire.Understood the current situation of the hospital environment from the perspective of preventing patient suicide and propose policy recommendations.Research result: First,the comprehensive hospital standard environmental checklist questionnaire prepared in this study consists of two dimensions which included a total of 24 items.Second,it experted consultation method: The recovery rate of the expert consultation questionnaire was 75% and 100% respectively and the enthusiasm of the experts was high;The expert group authoritative coefficient was 0.85,and the research results were more reliable.The mean scores of all indicators were more than 3.50,the coefficient of variation was less than 0.25,and one entry was deleted.The partial descriptions were appropriately modified according to expert opinions.Third,application of the questionnaire: This study investigated 105 departments of three hospitals.The suicide-related factors in the top three hospitals were significantly higher than those in the secondary hospitals(p<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the secondary hospitals(p>0.05).The third-grade hospitals in the department-related facilities were significantly higher than the second-class hospitals(p<0.05)and the second-class hospitals were significantly higher than the second-class hospitals(p<0.05).Analysis conclusion: The comprehensive hospital standard environmental checklist questionnaire prepared by the Institute had good content validity and could be used as a testing tool for clinical departments.The three hospitals surveyed had better environmental conditions in the facilities of the department,however the management of suicide restrictions was insufficient.Different levels of hospitals had obvious differences in environmental management and tertiary hospitals were superior to secondary hospitals.The examination of the hospital environment had an impact on the prevention of suicide in patients.It was important to carry out environmental examinations in various departments to prevent the occurrence of suicide time better. |
