Objective:This thesis aims to explore the possible influencing factors of cognitive dysfunction in maintenance hemodialysis patients with chronic renal failure, improve the quality of patients’ life, and provide a reference for preventing cognition dysfunction in patients.Methods:160 patients with chronic renal failure maintenance hemodialysis from the Central Hospital of Loudi from October 2017 to October 2018 were selected as subjects. The Cognitive Function Assessment Scale(MoCA) was applied. And Univariate analysis was used to analyze age, gender, occupational type, education level, marital status, economic status, blood urea nitrogen level, serum creatinine level, hemoglobin level, serum albumin level, number of complications, duration of illness, anxiety, and depression. Then Logistic regression analysis were employed.Results:1.The status of cognitive function and cognitive dysfunction in maintenance hemodialysis patients: The average score of cognitive function was:(21.2±5.2),and 35.00% of 160 patients with chronic renal failure maintained hemodialysis patients were normal cognitive function,65.00% of patients were cognitive impairment of varying degrees of cognitive dysfunction.2.Univariate analysis: Variables as age, gender, education level, economic status, serum albumin level, hemoglobin level, anxiety, depression, and disease duration of cognitive dysfunction and normal cognitive function patients with chronic renal failure maintenance hemodialysis were statistically significant(P <0.05).There were no significant differences in marital status, occupational type, blood urea nitrogen level, serum creatinine level, number of complications between normal cognitive function and cognitive dysfunction patients with chronic renal failure and maintenance hemodialysis(P >0.05).3.Multivariate analysis: age(>60 years),education level(below high school),anxiety(yes),depression(yes) and course of disease(≥3 years) are chronic renal failure Risk factors for cognitive dysfunction in maintenance hemodialysis patients.Hemoglobin(≥ 110g/L) is a protective factor for cognitive dysfunction in patients with chronic renal failure maintenance hemodialysis(OR=0.514,P <0.05).Conclusion:1.Chronic renal failure maintains hemodialysis patients have a high incidence of cognitive dysfunction, manifested in joint damage in multiple cognitive areas, delayed recall and attention and computational power were especially serious, this should be taken seriously by clinicians.2.Older age, lower education level, longer course of disease, anxiety and depression are risk factors for cognitive dysfunction in patients with chronic renal failure and maintenance hemodialysis.Relevant intervention measures should be proposed for these factors to reduce the incidence of cognitive dysfunction in maintenance hemodialysis patients with renal failure.
