Objective: This study investigated the reliability and validity of the Social Support Revalued Scale in patients with schizophrenia. To analyze the status quo and levels of social support in patients with schizophrenia. And to explore the curative effect and the influence of the curative effect of different levels and different types of social support for patients with schizophrenia. It would provide certain reference for the early prevention and treatment of schizophrenia. Methods: The subjects of this study were schizophrenic inpatients who were hospitalized in Fourth People's Hospital of Wuhu city from April 2017 to December2018 and met the enrollment criteria and signed the informed consent.A total of 133 patients were enrolled,33 of whom were shed due to various reasons, and 100 cases were eventually completed. On The day The patient was enrolled, the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS)was assessed by the psychiatrist, and the Social Support Revalued Scale(SSRS)and the patient's general condition questionnaire were completed by the inpatients themselves according to their own conditions.PANSS scale was evaluated again at 2th week,4th week and 6th week, and 30 schizophrenia patients with high degree of cooperation were selected to fill in the Social Support Revalued Scale again at 6th week.Results:(1)The Alpha reliability coefficient of the social support rating scale in patients with schizophrenia was 0.784,the half reliability was 0.773,and the Alpha reliability coefficient of each subscale was 0.527-0.717,the half reliability was 0.601-0.779.The retest reliability of the Social Support Revalued Scale in patients with schizophrenia was 0.878,and the retest reliability of each subscale was between 0.870 and 0.889.There was significant correlation among the factors of the scale, and the scale had good content validity.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the measurement model of the Social Support Revalued Scale had good component reliability and convergent validity, and the basic accessory degree of the scale was good.It indicated that the Social Support Revalued Scale had good reliability and validity in this sample.(2)At admission PANSS scale score was different in the total score, negative symptoms and general psychotic symptoms for different levels of social support of patients with schizophrenia. Also there exits significant differences in P5(exaggeration),P7(hostility),N2(emotional withdrawal),N6(lack of spontaneity and fluency in conversation),G5(pretending and acting),G7(slowness),G13(will disorder),G15(predominance)and G16(active social avoidance). In terms of scores of various symptoms, patients in the low social support group tended to have higher scores than those in the high social support group, that is,patients in the low social support group had more obvious symptoms.(3)There was a significant positive correlation between subjective support and the score reduction rate of negative symptoms(P<0.01),while there was a positive correlation between subjective support and the score reduction rate of general pathological symptoms(P<0.05).The higher the subjective support of patients with schizophrenia, the higher the subtraction rate of negative symptoms and general pathological symptoms, that is,the higher the subjective support of patients, the better the efficacy of negative symptoms and general pathological symptoms. The total score of social support was positively related to the subtraction rate of negative symptoms(P<0.05).The higher the social support, the better the effect on negative symptoms. There exits significant differences in the reduction rate of general pathological symptoms for PANSS score reduction rate in schizophrenia patients with different degrees of social support(P<0.05).The score reduction rate of the low social support group was lower than that of the middle social support group and the high social support group, that is,compared with the middle social support group and the high social support group, the patients in the low social support group had poorer efficacy in general pathological symptoms.Conclusion:(1)The Social Support Revalued Scale have a good reliability and validity among the schizophrenia patients in this study. The Social Support Revalued Scale can be used in the study of clinical samples of schizophrenia.(2)Low social support may be a risk factor for the mental symptoms of patients, especially the negative symptoms and general psychotic symptoms.(3)Good social support will have a positive effect on the improvement of negative symptoms in patients with schizophrenia.(4)Subjective support may be one of the factors affecting the curative effect of schizophrenia.(5)This is an indication that attention should be paid to patients in the low social support group In the course of treatment.
