Forsythia suspensa is the dry fruit of the nymphal plant Forsythia suspensa(Thunb.)Vahl,which is mostly born in hillsides,grasses or ravines,and is rich in wild resources.Forsythia suspensa is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine,and is widely used in China.The 2015 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia stipulates that Green Forsythia suspensa harvested after the first ripening of the fruit,but there is no specific harvesting period,and it grabbed green seriously,resulting in waste of its resources.By consulting the literature,it was found that the content of active ingredients,such as forsythin and ursolic acid in the leaves was higher than fruits.It is often used as a health tea in Shanxi,Shaanxi and Henan.In order to standardize the harvest of Forsythia suspensa,avoid the phenomenon of “grabbing green” and expand the utilization of Forsythia suspensa resources,this project intends to use embryos to evaluate the maturity of Forsythia suspensa,and combine with the content and production,thus effectively avoid the “grabbing green”,standardize the harvest of forsythia,improve the quality,and study the quality of Forsythia suspense leaves,to provide a basis for making full use of its resources.The research content mainly has the following five parts:1.Research on the maturity of Forsythia suspensa.By comparing the appearance of Forsythia suspensa and the characteristics of internal seeds and embryos,the development of Forsythia suspensa embryos was used as the evaluation index of its maturation.It was found that the Forsythia suspensa embryos of Huixian and Lingbao were formed in early July,basically developed in August 20 th,and the fruit naturally cracked after October 30 th.It was confirmed that Green Forsythia suspensa was,initially matured in mid-August,the Grown Forsythia suspensa was ripe in late October.For the first time,the development of embryos as the evaluation method of Forsythia suspensa maturation,can avoid the “grabbing green”,regulate the harvest of Forsythia suspensa,and improve the quality.2.Research on the suitable harvesting period of Forsythia suspensa.By comparing the changes of Forsythia suspensa content and yield in different harvesting periods,based on the maturity of Forsythia suspensa.It was found that the content of rosin-β-D-glucoside,forsythin and forsythiaside A decreased with time in different harvesting periods,and the content of forsythiaside increased gradually.The production of Forsythia suspensa reached its maximum in mid-August,and the fruit naturally cracked after October 30 th,the yield tended to be gentle after the sudden drop.It was finally determined that the suitable harvesting period of Green Forsythia suspensa was from mid-August to mid-September,and the Grown Forsythia suspensa was from late October to early December.Based on the development of Forsythia suspensa embryos,the changes in the content and yield of Forsythia suspensa,determine the harvesting period,and thus standardize the harvest,to ensure the quality of Forsythia suspensa is stable and controllable.and provide a scientific basis for the quality control.3.Research on the factors affecting the quality of Forsythia suspensa.The content of active ingredients in Forsythia suspensa was determined by HPLC.Investigating the relationship between the quality of its growth position,its own size and processing method,it was found that with the increase of altitude,the content of active ingredients in Forsythia suspensa growing on shady slope gradually increased;the quality stability of the large fruit was better than that of the small;the Forsythia suspensa color of the microwave for 10 to 15 minutes was better and the content was higher.Studying the influencing factors of Forsythia suspensa quality is conducive to the standardizd management,and providing a basis for the quality control of Forsythia suspensa.4.Research on harvesting and processing of Forsythia suspense leaves.The content of active ingredients in Forsythia suspense leaves with different harvesting periods and processing methods was determined.It was found that the content of Forsythia suspense leaves was higher from June to July,the steamed Forsythia suspense leaves were uniform in color and stable in quality.It provides a reference for the production of Forsythia suspense leaf tea,and the content of forsythin,forsythiaside and forsythiaside A in Forsythia suspense leaves was significantly higher than that of Forsythia suspensa,which can increase the development and utilization of Forsythia suspense leaves.5.Research on the anti-inflammatory activity of Forsythia suspensa in vitro.The effects of extracts of Forsythia suspensa on inflammatory factors IL-1β and TNF-α in different harvesting periods were detected by ELISA.It was found that Forsythia suspensa had anti-inflammatory effects in different harvesting stages,and it was positively correlated with concentration,the higher the content of forsythiaside in Forsythia suspensa at different harvesting stages,the better the anti-inflammatory effect,which proves that the harvesting of Forsythia suspensa has a good correlation with the internal quality,and provides a basis for regulating the harvest of Forsythia suspensa.For the first time,this study judges the mature stage of Forsythia suspensa from the development of embryos,comprehensively changes the content and yield are determined the suitable harvesting period of Forsythia suspensa,which can effectively avoid the “grabbing green” behavior,to ensure the quality of the medicine.At the same time,the research on the harvesting and processing of Forsythia suspense leaves provides a reference for the production of Forsythia suspense leaf tea.In this paper,the in vitro anti-inflammatory activity of Forsythia suspensa in different harvesting periods was studied,and the correlation between the quality of Forsythia suspensa and the harvesting period was explored.It provides an intuitive and rapid reference standard for the evaluation of the intrinsic quality of Forsythia suspensa,have a good practical significance.
