Objective:To investigate the effects of 3-Bromopyruvate(3-BrPA)on the migration, invasion and the expression of vimentin and MMP-9 in lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells. Methods:The effects of 3-BrPA on the migration and invasiveness of A549 cells were detected by wound healing test and Transwell assay, and the effect of 3-BrPA on the HK activity of A549 cells was detected by using HK assay kit.ELISA assay kit was used to detect the effect of 3-BrPA on the expression of MMP-9,Vimentin in A549 cells. Results:The number of migration cells and invasive cells of A549 in the 3-BrPA intervention group were significantly lower than those in the negative control group(P < 0.05).HK activity in the 3-BrPA intervention group was significantly lower than that in the negative control group(P < 0.05).The expression levels of MMP-9,Vimentin in the 3-BrPA intervention group were significantly decreased, compared to the negative control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion:3-BrPA could significantly inhibit the migration and invasion of lung cancer cell line A549,and could decrease the activity of HK in lung cancer cell line A549 in a concentration-dependent manner.3-BrPA decreased the expression of MMP-9,Vimentin in and out of lung cancer cells in a concentration-dependent manner.
