| Objective:To observe the clinical effects of traditional herbal bathing on neonatal ABO hemolytic jaundice,as well as its influence on blood routine, liver function and erythropoietin level, and to explore the therapeutic effect of traditional herbal bathing on neonatal ABO hemolytic jaundice.Methords:Sixty cases of neonatal ABO hemolytic jaundice were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was given traditional herbal bathing combined with basic western medicine treatment, while the control group was given basic western medicine treatment for 5 days as a course of treatment. To observe the changes of symptom scores, hemoglobin content, red blood cell count, packed cell volum, total bilirubin, indirect bilirubin, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, and observe the time of jaundice disappearance, hototherapy time, hospitalization days, adverse reactions, etc. The serum samples before and after treatment were collected, and the level of erythropoietin in serum was detected by ELISA.The general data and clinical effects of the two groups were analyzed statistically.Results:1.There was no significant difference in general data between the treatment group and the control group(p>0.05).In the treatment group,18 cases were markedly effective,12 cases were effective and 0 case was ineffective. In the control group,10 cases were markedly effective,19 cases were effective and 1 case was ineffective. There was significant difference between the two groups(p<0.05).The clinical effects of the treatment group were better than those of the control group.2.There were significant differences in symptom scores before and after treatment of each group(p<0.01).After treatment, the difference of symptom scores between the control group and the treatment group was statistically significant(p<0.01).The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the clinical symptoms of damp-heat stagnation-steaming syndrom of neonatal jaundice.3.There were significant differences in TBIL and IBIL decreased before and after treatment of each group(p<0.01).And the treatment group was better than the control group, with statistical significance(p<0.05).4.After treatment,ALT and AST decreased compared with before treatment of each group, with statistical significance(p<0.01).The decrease degree of the two groups was similar(p>0.05).5.There were significant differences in HGB、RBC and PCV decreased before and after treatment of each group(p<0.01).The decrease of treatment group was less than that of control group(p<0.05).6.There were significant differences in EPO decreased before and after treatment of each group(p<0.01).The decrease of treatment group was greater than that of control group(p<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effects of traditional herbal bathing on neonatal ABO hemolytic jaundice combined with basic Western medicine treatment are obvious. It is superior to the western medicine treatment group in reducing serum total bilirubin value, indirect bilirubin value and improving clinical symptoms. It is worthy of clinical promotion, traditional herbal bathing may delay the occurrence of hemolysis and postpone the occurrence of anemia. The mechanism may be related to the regulation of EPO receptors. It is worth further study. |
