| Objective To explore the correlation between traditional blood biomarkers such as serum lipids, homocysteine, prealbumin in assessing severity and predicting prognosis of patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods 146 Patients with acute cerebral infarction within 72 hours of onset in The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University for the period from October 2017 to October 2018 were included to evaluate the severity of the disease by NIHSS.146 patients would complete blood test for blood lipids, homocysteine and liver function tests(prealbumin)within 24 hours of hospitalization. And we used the mRS to evaluation neurological function in 90 th days after stroke. Results In the groups of cerebral infarction severity,T-CHO,TG,LDL-C,LP(a),HCY,PA levels in severe group were significantly higher than middle group and mild group(P<0.05),and middle group was significantly higher than mild group(P<0.05);HDL-C level in severe group and middle group were significantly lower than the mild group(P<0.05),the difference between this two groups was not statistically significant.T-CHO,TG,LDL-C,LP(a),HCY levels in poor prognosis group were significantly higher than good prognosis group(P<0.05);PA level in poor prognosis group was significantly lower than good prognosis group(P<0.05).And HDL-C level in prognosis group was lower than good prognosis group, but it was not statistically significant. The score of NIHSS was positively correlated with T-CHO,TG,LDL-C,LP(a)and HCY levels(P<0.05);NIHSS was negatively correlated with PA level(P<0.05);NIHSS was negatively correlated with HDL-C level, but it was not statistically significant.mRS was positively correlated with T-CHO,TG,LDL-C,LP(a),HCY levels(P<0.05),mRS was negatively correlated with PA level(P<0.05),and mRS was negatively correlated with HDL-C level, but was not statistically significant.Consistency test between NIHSS and mRS showed Kappa=0.317,and the results of the two scores were positively correlated,r=0.432(P < 0.05).Conclusion The level of blood lipids, homocysteine and prealbumin in patients with acute cerebral infarction is correlated with the severity and prognosis; And the combination of blood lipids, homocysteine and prealbumin levels with NIHSS and mRS are more beneficial to evaluate the severity and prognosis of acute cerebral infarction. |
