Objective: To explore the effect of Floating Acupuncture on post-operative pain of anorectal diseases, and to provide a new analgesic method for the treatment of post-operative pain of anorectal diseases. Methods: 80 patients with post-operative pain of anorectal diseases were randomly divided into treatment group(Floating Acupuncture)and control group(oral Ibuprofen sustained-release tablets).Compared the analgesic effect between Floating Acupuncture therapy group and oral Ibuprofen sustained-release tablets group in post-operative pain of anorectal diseases, including the pain scores,,the number of cases of tramadol hydrochloride injected intramuscularly at 24 hours after operation, the number of adverse events(dizziness, subcutaneous bleeding, vomiting)and post-operative urinary retention after treatment. Results: There was no significant difference in age,sex and disease distribution between treatment group and control group. The pain scores of the two groups were significantly decreased after treatment. The pain scores of the Floating Acupuncture group decreased more than those of Ibuprofen sustained-release tablets with 6 hours. The pain scores of the patients in the Floating Acupuncture group decreased more than those of Ibuprofen sustained-release tablets after 6 hours of treatment. The pain of Ibuprofen sustained-release tablet group was significantly lower than that of Floating Acupuncture group. There was no significant difference in pain scores between the treatment group and the control group at 24 h after operation.Floating Acupuncture was better than Ibuprofen sustained-release tablets in treating postoperative pain of anal and intestinal diseases at 48 h,72 h after operation. The incidence of adverse events in the floating needle group and ibuprofen group were 5% and 20% respectively after treatment. After treatment, the use rates of tramadol hydrochloride in the Floating Acupuncture group and Ibuprofen sustained-release tablet group were 5% and 20%,respectively.The mean scores of postoperative urinary retention between the treatment group and the control group were 1.5± 1.68 and 2.05± 2.24 respectively, which indicated that the effect of relieving urinary retention in Floating Acupuncture group was better than that in Ibuprofen sustained-release tablet group after anorectal diseases. Conclusion: Floating Acupuncture therapy is effective in the treatment of post-operative pain of anorectal diseases, which is worth popularizing in clinic application.
