| The thesis is comprised of three chapters.Chapter 1 discussed the studies on the chemical constituents in Leonurus japonicus and their bioactivities.Leonurusjaponicus,belonging to the genus Leonurus of the family Labiatae.By normal phase chromatography,inversed phase chromatography,molecular sieve chromatography and other chromatography methods,forty-three compounds were isolated from the fraction of 95%ethanol extraction,including thirty-two diterpenoids(seventeen new ones,and another seven compounds were the same as the new compounds isolated by wang yongmei in our research group):compounds 1 and 2 are norditerpenoids;compounds 3 and 4 are isomers,after the ring clefting between C-6 and C-7,the compounds were rearranged to a 7-lactone ring;compounds 10 and 11 are also isomers;compounds 15 and 16 show a cleavage of the B ring in comparison with the regular labdane diterpenoids;compound 17 is a rare structure that has not been reported.According to the literature research and application of Leonurus japonicus in traditional folk prescription,some compounds have been evaluated for anti-inflammatory and cytotoxicity.Most of the diterpenes have anti-inflammatory activity and low cellular toxicity.Compound 13(IC50 = 9.6μM)is a new labdane diterpenoid with the best anti-inflammatory activity.Chapter 2 discussed the studies on the chemical constituents in Macaranga hemsleyana Pax et Hoffm that belongs to the genus Macaranga of the family Euphorbiaceae.fifteen compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate phase,including flavonoids,flavonoid glycosides,benzene derivatives,pyridine alkaloids,and a oxypyridine alkaloid where the oxygen atom attached to the nitrogen atom from n-butanol phase.Chapter 3 is a review about the labdane diterpenoids from the genus Leonurus,Solidago,Cunninghamia,Hedychium and other medicinal herbs(2014-2019). |
