| Objective:In order to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of hepatitis E in human immunodeficiency virus-infected populations,we investigate and assess the knowledge, positive attitudes and healthy behavior of hepatitis E and analyze the seroprevalence of HEV in HIV-infected populations in some regions of Hubei.Methods:1.Stratified random sampling was used to select 700 HIV-infected people from six regions of Hubei for questionnaire survey. The contents of the questionnaire included the basic situation of the population, the basic knowledge of hepatitis E,the positive attitudes of hepatitis E and the healthy behavior of hepatitis E.The data of the survey results were entered into the computer using Epidata 3.1.The awareness rate, positive attitude rate, and health behavior rate were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The relationship between the score level of each part and gender, age, region, etc.were analyzed by chi-square test and logistic regression technique in the SPSS 24.0.2.The anti-HEV IgM and anti-HEV IgG Serum samples from 538 HIV-infected populations obtained from the Hubei Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention were measured by enzyme linked immunoassay(ELISA).Statistical analysis was performed on the test results using the chi-square test and the trended chi-square test of ordered grouped data in SPSS 24.0.Results:There were 644 valid questionnaires in the survey.Males accounted for80.59%of the respondents. The average age of the respondents was 37.95±12.45 years old. There are 30.75%respondents from Ezhou. The number of workers in the occupational group is relatively large(34.64%).In the group of education, the number of junior middle school, high school/secondary and junior college education is the highest(77.18%).The monthly income of the respondents was mainly between 2,000and 4,000 yuan(59.29%).The awareness rate of HEV in HIV population in Hubei was lower was 41.15%.The awareness of“HEV can spread blood and blood products”is 87.73%.The positive attitude rate was 46.27%.The positive attitude rate of “Willing to vaccinate with hepatitis E vaccine”and“Actively requesting vaccination”was 67.24%and 58.85%,respectively.Subjects hope to obtain HEV-related knowledge from doctors(57.61%)or broadcast television networks(55.12%).Most of the subjects had healthy behaviors(56.37%),of which 84.63%,63.04%,and 56.06%of the respondents maintained“Rarely drinking raw water”,“Usually washing hands before meals”and“Less traveling”.The logistic regression technique showed that the awareness rate associated with hepatitis E was affected by the place of residence(OR=1.28),occupation(OR=0.81)and education of the respondents (OR=1.24).The positive attitude is related to regional(OR=1.21)and educational(OR=1.53).In addition, the gender(OR=1.66),age(OR=1.53),regional(OR=1.10)and monthly income(OR=0.85)also have an impact on the health behavior(P(27)0.05).In 538 HIV-infected people,1.49%(8/538)of serum samples were anti-HEV IgM positive and 43.31%(233/538)of them were anti-HEV IgG positive. The anti-HEV IgG positive rate was linearly correlated with age(X2linear=12.2,P=0.000),and there was significant difference between the age groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in anti-HEV IgG positive rate between different gender(P>0.05).Anti-HEV IgG positive rate for the crowd with CD4 value≤200cell/μl was higher than that with CD4>200 cell/μl,but showed no significant difference(P>0.05).The anti-HEV IgG positive rate in HIV-infected population in Huanggang was lower than other regions(P<0.05).Conclusion:Hepatitis E-related knowledge, positive attitudes and healthy behavior in HIV-infected populations in some regions of Hubei was investigated in this study, and serum epidemiology was also evaluated in this population. The results showed lower Hepatitis E-related knowledge levels, better positive attitudes and healthy behavior, and higher HEV seroprevalence in HIV-infected individuals. This indicates that HIV-infected people should be the focus of prevention of hepatitis E.The level of Hepatitis E-related knowledge, positive attitudes and healthy behavior in HIV-infected people is related to their gender, age, place of residence, etc.According to this,we should formulate different prevention strategies in a targeted manner. |
