Acupuncture Treatment Of Female Menopausal Syndrome From Clinical Selection Of Acupuncture Points Frequency In Journals

Objective: This paper takes statistics on acupoint selection frequency from clinical literature research to study acupuncture treatment in the treatment of female menopausal syndrome by acupoint selection.It discusses acupuncture treatment of female menopausal syndrome in the selection of acupuncture points frequency,and formulates a frequency spectrum of commonly used acupoints and meridians.To obtain more accurate treatment standards,a large number of samples were taken to conduct in-depth research on the application of selected points for the acupuncture treatment in female menopausal syndrome.Method: Computer research includes CNKI,Wanfang Database(WF),and VIP Journal Database(VIP).Main Chinese search terms include: "female menopausal syndrome","acupuncture","menopause syndrome","perimenopausal syndrome","acupuncture","menopause syndrome","abdomen acupuncture","electric acupuncture","warm acupuncture," "acupoint embedding," "acupoint application," "acupoint injection." Acupuncture treatment of female menopausal syndrome literature was conducted from the beginning date of self-built database to December 2017.A database was established to statistically analyze the acupoint selection frequency included in the literature.Result: This paper studied a total of 164 references.Based on the publication time of the literature,the content of relevant literature has greatly increased during the past 26 years.This clearly shows that more and more scholars are concerned about the treatment of female menopausal syndrome by acupuncture.The number of relevant documents published is the largest in the year of 2015.Among the 352 acupuncture prescriptions,113 were selected with acupoints,the total number of acupoints used was 2,548,“Sanyinjiao” point,“Shenshu”point and “Guanyuan” point were used in the top three prescriptions with ratio of 61.6%(217/352),50.9 %(179/352)and 50.3%(177/352)respectively.There are 100 main points in the literature database with total frequency of 2029,and 71sub-points with total frequency of 519.All acupoints were ranked according to the total frequency of use,among which the top ten acupoints were “Sanyinjiao” point,“Shenshu”point,“Guanyuan” point,“Ganshu” point,“Zusanli” point,“Pishu” point,“Taichong” point,“Taixi” point,“Qihai” point,and “Shenmen” point respectively.The top 10 frequent main points are “Sanyinjiao” point,“Shenshu” point,“Guanyuan” point,“Ganshu” point,“Pishu”point,“Zusanli” point,“Qihai” point,“Taichong” point,“Taixi” point,and “Shenmen”pointrespectively.The top 5 frequent sub-points are “Taichong” point,“Taixi” point,“Baihui”point,“Shenmen” point,“Mingmen” point.The efficacy of acupuncture treatment for female menopausal syndrome in acupoints is based on the degree of mutuality and correlation.According to this,the first combination is “Guanyuan” point and “Sanyinjiao” point.The degree of mutuality indicates that this combination appeared in 352 acupuncture formulas,which accounted for 32.1%;correlation indicates that the occurrence frequency of“Sanyinjiao” point is 73.0% in acupuncture prescriptions.In the treatment of female menopausal syndrome,acupuncture treatment mainly selected acupoints in the lower extremities,thorax,abdomen and back,with frequency rate of 30.5 %(776/2548),25.4%(647/2548)and 24.7%(628/2548)respectively.The highest number of acupoints used was in the thorax and abdomen,with a total of 31.Among acupuncture prescriptions,the most frequently occurring acupoints were located at the chest,abdomen,lower extremities and back with a ratio of 90.3%(318/352).The acupoints used in the acupuncture prescriptions spread throughout the fourteen meridians,which contained 7 Non-meridian extra acupoint,namely the “Zigong” point(44times),“Jiaji” point(37 times),“Sishencong” point(15 times),“Yintang” point(10 times),“Taiyang” point(9 times),“Anmian” point(2 times),and “Lanmen” point(2 times).The above 7 Non-meridian extra acupoint has been used 119 times,and the frequency accounted for 4.7%.The frequencies of the “Yin” and “Yang” meridians use was approximately 49.7 %(1267/2548)and 45.6 %(1161/2548)respectively.The total frequency use of the “Ren”meridian was much higher than that of the “Du” meridian,which was 2.3 times greater.The top 10 frequency use of the same name meridians was ranked as follows: “Taiyang” meridian(22.3%),“Ren” meridian(16.5%),“Taiyin” meridian(12.9%),“Yangming” meridian(12.3%),“Shaoyin” meridian(10.7%),“Jingyin” meridian(9.6%),“Du” meridian(7.2%),and“Shaoyang” meridian(3.7%).The prescription of acupuncture for female menopausal syndrome emphasizes the use of specific points,especially the use of “Jiaohui” point(crossing point of two or more acupoints).The specific points usage rate was 86.1 %,and the most frequent use sorted from high to low are “Jiaohui” point,“Wushu” point(a combination of 5 transport acupoints),and “Beishu”point(acupoints located on the back).The highest frequency of use occurred in the lower extremities,chest and abdomen,with a total of 76.2% in the whole body.From the meridian perspective,acupoints of the “Yin” meridian accounted for 50.4% of the usage.From the perspective of data mining system,we can see that the frequency of use for different acupoints in the “Wushu” points are ranked in descending order: 1.6% for “Jing” point,6.7%for “Ying” point,50.9% for “Shu” point,0.9% for “Jing” point,and 39.9% for “He” point.The use of acupoints located on the back are mainly by “Fei” point,“Xin” point,“Gan” point,“Pi” point,“Shen” point,which are named after the five internal organs of lung,heart,liver,spleen and kidney respectively.Conclusion: This study strictly complies with the standards and obtains related literature from the CNKI,Wanfang Database,and the VIP Journal database.The results showed that the most selected acupuncture points for treatment in female menopausal syndrome include:“Sanyinjiao” point,“Shenshu” point,“Guanyuan” point,“Ganshu” point,“Zusanli” point,which mainly concentrated in the “Pangguang” meridian,“Ren” meridian,and “Pi”meridian.Most acupoints are used in combination,including up with lower acupoints,front with back acupoints.In the acupuncture prescriptions,the “Yin” and “Yang” meridian are equallyimportant,they are used in combination with “Zusanyin”meridian,“Ren”meridian,and“Pangguang”meridian.Through various literatures,this paper provides theoretical basis and reference for the study of acupuncture treatment in female menopausal syndrome.
