Clinical Study On Using Siepser Coreoplasty To Treat Mydriasis Caused By Glaucoma

Objective:To observe the clinical effects and opportunity of using Siepser coreoplasty to treat mydriasis caused by glaucoma。Methods:Retrospective analysis 62 eyes of 61 patients with mydriasis caused by glaucoma received different surgical management,from 2012-06 to 2014-02 in Xiamen Eye Center.All patients were divided into four groups.Group one treated by Siepser coreoplasty combined with phacoemulsification combined with trabeculectomy.Group two treated by phacoemulsification combined with trabeculectomy.Group three treated by Siepser coreoplasty combined with phacoemulsification.Group four treated by Siepser coreoplasty.Observation items included visual acuity(VA),best-correctedvisual acuity(BCVA),intraocular pressures(IOP),pupil diameter,anterior chamber inflammatory reaction,iris injur,hyphema,photophobia,ect.All patients were followed up more than 1 months.The observation time of concurrent disease was at the time of operation,the observation time of anterior chamber inflammatory reaction was the second day after operation,and the observation time of other items was before and one month after operation.The changes of the above observation items before and after operation were compared.Results:In group one,postoperative VA,BCVA,IOP,pupil diameter,photophobia were better than preoperation(P<0.05).In group two,postoperative VA,BCVA,IOP,pupil diameter,were better than preoperation(P<0.05).In group three,postoperative VA,BCVA,pupil diameter,photophobia were better than preoperation(P<0.05),but IOP was unchanged(P=0.40024).In group four,postoperative pupil diameter,photophobia were better than preoperation(P<0.05),but VA,BCVA,IOP,were unchanged(P>0.05).Difference between the first group and the second group in VA,BCVA,IOP,and anterior chamber inflammatory reactionwere not significant(P>0.05);the first group had more pupil diameter reduction and postoperative photophobia reduction than the second group(P<0.05).Difference between the first group and the third group in VA,BCVA,IOP,and pupil diameter,anterior chamber inflammatory reaction,iris injur,hyphema,photophobia were also not significant(P<0.05).There were also no significant difference in pupil diameter,anterior chamber inflammatory reaction,photophobia between the first group and the fourth group.Conclusion:Useing Siepser coreoplasty combined with other operation to treat mydriasis caused by glaucoma can reduce pupil diameter,improve photophobia glare,improve visual quality.It will not affect the curatie effect of other operations.
