Objective:To observe the occurrence of adverse reactions caused by fumigation of traditional Chinese medicine and its related factors.Methods:1.The self-designed observation table was designed by literature research, expert meeting method, combined with relevant concepts in TCM clinical nursing.2.From September 2016 to August 2017,809 cases of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation treated with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and conservative treatment in a Class A hospital were selected, their adverse reactions during the fumigation of Chinese medicine were investigated through a self-designed observation table.Using single factor analysis and multiple logistic regression analysis methods,to study the influencing factors of adverse reactions of Chinese medicine fumigation.3.Data analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0 statistical software.Descriptive statistics(statistical charts, tables)were made on the general data of patients using the rate, composition ratio, and mean?standard deviation. The risk factors for adverse reactions(ie baseline data collected from patients)were analyzed by univariate analysis?~2 test, and the ordered data were analyzed by rank sum test.Multivariate analysis was performed using non-conditional Logistic forward stepwise regression analysis. All statistical tests were two-sided tests with a test level of?=0.05.Results:1.Among the 809 patients,193 patients experienced adverse reactions with an incidence of 23.9%.2.Among the 193 patients with adverse symptoms,99 were symptoms of internal dryness, accounting for 51.3%.Among them,79 cases were dry mouth,8 cases were sore throat,12 cases were dry stools, and 24 cases were local skin changes, accounting for 12.4%.18 cases of mottled spots,6 cases of itching;9 cases of drug eruptions, accounting for 4.7%,including 3 cases of erythema,3 cases of papules,3cases of wind bleed;9 cases of dizziness, accounting for 4.7%;6 cases of burns, accounting for 3.1%,manifested as scald redness 3 cases, blisters in 3 cases;3 cases of colds, accounting for 1.6%,manifested as chills in 3 cases;the other 7 cases, accounting for 3.7%,including 1 case of nasal discharge,2 cases of itchy eyes,3cases of oral ulcers;Symptoms were 36 cases, accounting for 18.7%,mainly manifested as two or more clinical manifestations.3.The time and duration of adverse reactions of fumigation of Chinese medicine:The time of dry mouth appear in(4.07?3.28)days,and the duration was(9.11?4.38)days;throat pain occurs in(3.86?2.37)days,and the duration was(8.06?4.87)days;stool dryness occurs in(3.15?1.50)days,duration(7.64?4.38)days;cold emergence time(4.50?3.70)days,duration(5.75?1.50)days;scald redness occurs in(1.0?0.0)days,duration(1.0?0.0)days;blisters appear in(3.40?1.89)days,duration(2.0?0.71)days;erythema appears in(2.25?1.89)days,duration(4.0?1.73)days;the appearance time of the papules was(4.0?1.0)days and the duration was(5.56?2.60)days;the appearance time of the wheal group was(13.0?4.24)days,and the duration was(4.50?0.71)days;flower stripe occurs in(16.65?7.34)days and the duration was(29.0?9.27)days;the itching time was(4.17?2.99)days,and the duration was(5.0?1.41)days;the dizziness appeared in the beginning of fumigation(3.80?2.87)days,after a few minutes break can ease.4.One-way analysis of variance showed that there was a statistically significant difference between genders in the adverse reaction group and no adverse reaction group(P<0.05).5.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis shows that sex(OR=0.486;95%CI:0.346-0.681;P<0.001)?days of fumigation(OR=1.015;95%CI:1.006-1.025;P=0.002)were the independent risk factors for the response of fumigation of Chinese medicine.Conclusion:1.Adverse reactions occurred in 193 of 809 patients, with an incidence of23.9%.2.The fumigation of Chinese medicine in the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, the highest proportion of occurrence of internal dryness symptoms accounted for 51.3%,mainly for dry mouth, throat pain, dry stool.3.Women are more prone to fumigation of Chinese medicine than men.4.The risk of adverse reactions of fumigation with Chinese herbs increased with the increase of fumigation days.
