Objective:To understand the socio-demographic factors, prevalence, distribution characteristics and epidemic trend of related risk factors of chronic kidney disease(CKD)among Uygur population in Zawa Town,Moyu County,Xinjiang. Methods:The data were obtained from repeated cross-sectional studies. The cross-sectional survey data in 2007,2013 and 2018 were compared and analyzed. Results:After adjusting for age and sex,the prevalence of CKD was 5.4%(95% CI5.3-5.5)in 2007 and 6.5%(95% CI6.4-6.6)in 2013,which was higher than that in 2007.The difference was statistically significant. The prevalence of CKD in the sample population in 2018 was 11.2%(95% CI9.17-13.23),which was higher than that in 2007 and 2013.The prevalence of CKD in this area increased significantly. Results from logistic regression analysis showed that factors as sex, age,HUA and HP were risk factors for population in three studies. In summary, the prevalence of CKD increased with time. The observed risk factors included sex, age,HP,HUA,and no additional risk factors. Conclusion:The prevalence of CKD among rural Uygur residents in Zawa Town,Moyu County,Xinjiang is increasing with time, and there is no or only slight progress in risk factors.Patients with HP,DM and HUA should consider the risk of CKD.Education should be strengthened to reduce the incidence of risk factors and then reduce the incidence of CKD.Despite some heterogeneity in the three cross-sectional surveys, the theme that DM,HP and HUA are the main drivers is consistent.
