Objective:To analyze the prevalence of RLS in dialysis patients by systematic evaluation, and to explore the influencing factors of RLS in hemodialysis(HD)population. Methods:We searched databases from inception to November 28,2018 in Pubmed,Embase,Web of Science,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang,VIP,China Biomedical Literature Database. We selected literature about RLS in dialysis population.According to inclusion and exclusion criteria,we extracted relevant data and assessed the quality of included literatures.Meta-analysis was performed using STATA14.0 software, and the Q-test was used to assess the heterogeneity between studies. If the heterogeneity test P>0.10 and I~2<25%,the study can be considered of homogeneity, then we would use fixed effect model to calculate the combined prevalence and influencing factors effect intensity;otherwise,we would use a random effects model, and subgroup analysis is used to explore heterogeneity sources,X~2 is used to evaluate differences between subgroups. We use funnel plot combined with Egger linear regression to assess publication bias. And we use sensitivity analysis to assess the stability of results.Results:1.A total of 79 articles were included in the study of RLS prevalence,including14 Chinese articles and 65 foreign language articles.A total of 17731 patients27.3%-42.6%).27.4%(95%CI:23.7%-31.1%)and 23.9%(95%CI:19.3%-28.6%),respectively.3.Meta-analysis of risk factors of RLS in HD patients showed that, comparing to male, the risk of RLS in female HD patients was 1.328 times higher(OR=1.328,95%CI:1.171-1.506,P<0.001);RLS patients have a longer dialysis history than non-RLS HD patients(SMD=0.23,95%CI:0.108-0.352,P<0.001).There were no marked differences in age, body mass index, urea clearance index(Kt/V),serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, hemoglobin, ferritin, calcium, phosphorus and parathyroid hormone between HD patients with RLS and without RLS.Conclusions:The prevalence of RLS in dialysis patients is 28.7%.The prevalence of RLS in PD patients(33.9%)is higher than in HD patients(28.1%).Female gender and longer dialysis history are risk factors for RLS in HD patients.
