Objective:To analyze the relationship between serum uric acid(SUA)levels undear its related factors and clinical data of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)in the Chinese-Korean nationality and the Han nationality in Yanbian area. Methods:A retrospective analysis of T2DM patients admitted to the Department of Endocrinology,Yanbian University Hospital from December 2016 to December 2017.a total of 366 patients met the inclusion criteria.Ask the patient’s general condition, history of the disease, smoking and drinking history, medication history, etc;measure the height, weight and blood pressure of the patient at admission;the test items include blood glucose related indicators, blood lipid related indicators,SUA,liver function related indicators, renal function related indicators,Carotid intima media thickness. The measurement data were described by x±s.The comparison between groups was performed by t test, analysis of variance analysis or non-parametric rank sum test. The count data was expressed by sample size and percentage. The correlation between the measurement data was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis, and the test level was=0.05.Results:1.Among the T2DM patients in Yanbian.the SUA levels in Han men with T2DM were high er than that in Chinese-Korean males.(Han:359.61±102.12μmol/L,Chinese-Korean:336.52±105.05μmol/L.P<0.05),and the SUA levels in Han women with T2DM were higher than that in Chinese-Korean women.(Han:311.16±96.10μmol/L,Chinese-Korean:274.72 ±81.91μmol/L,P<0.05).2.The univariate analysis showed that the ethnic(Han nationality),history of alcohol consumption, diabetic nephropathy, carotid artery plaques, high systolic blood pressure, high triglycerides, high serum creatinine, and obesity were statistically correlated with SUA levels in male T2DM patients(P<0.05).The ethnic(Han nationality),with coronary heart disease, obesity, abnormal liver function, and high blood muscle, these factors were related to the SUA level of the female T2DM(P<0.05).This study found that the factor SUA level has no correlation with age, gender.fasting blood sugar levels and postprandial 2 hours blood glucose level, glycosylated hemoglobin, blood urea nitrogen, diabetes duration, total cholesterol, diabetes treatment, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, diabetes complicated with cerebral vascular disease,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, diabetes peripheral neuropathy and diabetic retinopathy.3.Multiple linear regression analysis was performed on the factors with statistical correlation after single factor analysis.Blood creatinine,BMI and triglyceride were risk factors for affecting SUA levels in male T2DM patients;serum creatinine,γ-GT and BMI were considered risk factors for SUA levels in female T2DM patients.Conclusion:1.SUA level of T2DM patients in Yanbian is different among different nationalities.2.The level of SUA in male patients with T2DM is closely related to serum creatinine,BMI and triglyceride, and the level of SUA in female patients with T2DM is closely related to serum creatinine,γ-GT and BMI.
