Expression Of Matrix Metalloproteinases-8 And Matrix Metalloproteinases-13 In Gingival Crevicular Fluid Around The Peri-implantitis

Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between matrix metalloproteinase-8(MMP-8)and matrix metalloproteinase-13(MMP-13)expression and peri-implant inflammation,and the correlation between the expression levels of matrix metalloproteinase-8(MMP-8)and matrix metalloproteinase-13(MMP-13)and periodontal index.And evaluate whether it can be used as an objective indicator for diagnosis and treatment of peri-implantitis.Methods: From 2016 to 2017,40 healthy implant patients and 40 peri-implant inflammation patients were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria in the dental implant Department of the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University.Result: The concentration of MMP-8 in GCF was higher than that of the healthy implants,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference of MMP-13 in gingival creaming fluid of peri-implant group and healthy group was not statistically significant.Existence of positive correlation between MMP-8 and SBI、 PD and BL.Conclusion: Increased expression of MMP-8 in gingival crevicular fluid has a certain correlation with clinical indicators of implants,and can be used as an auxiliary indicator for early diagnosis and treatment of peri implant inflammation.
