Objection: To explore the impact of ovarian cysts including benign ovarian tumor and endometrioma, and cystectomy on ovarian reserve. Methods: Collect a total of 81 patients(25 with endometrioma and 56 with benign ovarian tumor)who underwent cystectomy because of benign ovarian cysts in our hospital from January,2017 to December,2018.And serum follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),anti-Mullarian Hormone(AMH)levels were determined before and 3-5 months after operation. The patients were divided into different groups according to age,uni/bilaterally occurring and size of the ovarian cysts,to compare the decline of AMH.Results: AMH levels are significantly lower after operations were performed(3.06±2.37ng/ml to 1.22±1.00ng/ml,P < 0.01),and differences of levels of FSH and LH were observed postoperatively(P<0.01).And in the group of endometrioma, preoperative AMH levels are no difference with those in benign ovarian tumor group(P>0.05).When the patients were divided into different age group, there’s no difference between groups on the AMH level preoperatively(P>0.05).In the group of bilateral ovarian cyst and group of large cyst(≥6cm),reduction of AMH is higher than those in unilateral group and in small cyst(< 6cm)respectively.Conclusion: Ovarian reserve is obviously reduced after cystectomy is performed, and ovarian reserve is influenced the endometriosis cyst was removed more than benign ovarian tumor(P<0.05).The reduction of AMH level postoperatively is more significant when ovarian cyst is unilateral and large(≥6cm).
