Study On The Morbidity And Etiology And Pathogenesis And Syndromes And Treatment Of Psychosomatic Diseases In Classified Medical Records Of Famous Physicians

ObjectiveClassified Medical Records of Famous Physicians is the first monograph of general practice of Chinese medicine in China.It contains many medical records of psychosomatic diseases,which has high academic level and practical value.This study includes two parts: the overall study and the classification study.The author summarizes the characteristics of psychosomatic diseases and the rules of syndrome and treatment in Classified Medical Records of Famous Physicians through sorting out and collecting medical records of psychosomatic diseases in the book.MethodsIn this study,literature collection method was used to collect and sort out the medical records of the psychosomatic diseases in Classified Medical Records of Famous Physicians,and classify the psychosomatic diseases according to Internal Medicine,Surgery,Gynecology,Pediatrics and Department of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology.The author summarize of psychological and emotional factors of disease occurrence,syndrome types,treatment,involved viscera by basic analysis,the use of prescriptions and drugs was analyzed by the frequency analysis method,summarize the characteristics of psychosomatic diseases and the rule of treatment by experience summary method.Result1.A total of 270 medical cases of psychosomatic diseases in Classified Medical Records of Famous Physicians were collected in this study.They were distributed in Internal medicine,Surgery,Gynecology,Pediatrics and Department of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology,involving at least 93 kinds of diseases.2.The emotional factors that cause psychosomatic diseases are anger,depression,thought,anxiety,alarm,sadness and fear.Anger is the most frequent emotional factor that causes psychosomatic diseases.3.The occurrence of psychosomatic diseases is related to the patient’s disposition,social status and other life events which easily cause negative emotions.4.The syndrome types of psychosomatic diseases have TCM deficiency Syndrome and TCM Excessive Syndrome which are closely related to liver and spleen.The main causes and pathogenesis are excessive emotions which lead to Qi and blood,imbalance of yin and yang,viscera injury,phlegm and blood stasis,and damage of body meridians.5.The combination of syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation in the treatment of psychosomatic diseases include pharmacotherapy,acupuncture and psychotherapy therapy,with pharmacotherapy as the main method.A single treatment method can be used,or two methods can be used simultaneously.6.The main prescriptions for psychosomatic diseases are replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen,nourishing blood and tonifying blood,harmonizing liver and spleen.The most frequently used prescription is Bu Zhong Yi Qi Decoction,and the most frequently used drug is Bai Zhu.Conclusion 1.Morbidity characteristics of psychosomatic diseasesPsychosomatic diseases are widely distributed in clinic and there are many kinds of diseases.A variety of emotional factors can cause psychosomatic diseases.Anger is the main emotional factor causing psychosomatic diseases.Psychosomatic disease patients are usually weak in plain constitution or suffer from a certain disease first,then triggered or induced by emotional factors.Men,women,the elderly and the young may suffer from psychosomatic diseases.The patient’s disposition,social status,and other life events which easily cause negative emotions are related to the occurrence of psychosomatic diseases.2.Characteristic of Syndrome and Treatment of Psychosomatic DiseasesEmotional excess causes disorders of Qi and blood,imbalance of yin and yang,viscera injury,phlegm and blood stasis,and damage of body meridians,which lead to psychosomatic diseases.The occurrence of psychosomatic diseases is closely related to liver and spleen.The treatment adheres to the combination of syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation.Therapeutic methods of psychosomatic diseases include pharmacotherapy,acupuncture and psychotherapy therapy.Drug therapy is the main treatment method.Single treatment method can be used,and two treatment methods can be used together.Drug therapy and prescription for psychosomatic diseases are characterized by replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen,nourishing blood and tonifying blood,harmonizing liver and spleen.
