Analysis On The Characteristics Of Ancient Clinical Application Of Uroschesis Cured By External Therapy

Objective: To systematize the ancient literature on treatment of uroschesis with external therapy of Chinese Medicine,to discuss the law of acupoint selection and herbal administration,so as to provide theoretical basis for its further application.Method: Basing on the "Chinese Medical Classics"(Fifth Edition)as the main retrieval source,sort out the related literatures of external therapy on uroschesis,establish the database and make statistical analysis for the characteristics of ancient clinical application with Microsoft Office Excel.Results: The total number of prescriptions about uroschesis which was cured by external therapy was 2712,involving 1352 acupuncture prescriptions and 1360 formulas.1.Acupuncture points were 118 and they were used 1739 times in total.There were 104 Fourteen Meridians and 14 Specific acupoints among them.The top ten points were Guan Yuan(RN 4),Yin Lingquan(SP 9),Tai Chong(LR 3),Wei Yang(BL 39),Yin Jiao(RN 7),Zhong Ji(RN 3),Qu Gu(RN 2),Shi Men(RN 5),Da Changshu(BL 25),San Yinjiao(SP 6).The conception channel and urinary bladder meridian were used most frequenctly.Based on the classify of acupoints,the Specific acupoints were used primarily.Among them,Five-Shu points and Crossing points were mostly used.The frequency of He-Sea acupoints was the highest.Most of the acupoints were distributed in extremities.2.The kinds of herbs were 304.The total frequency was used 4155.The top ten of them were scallion,salt,musk,vivipara,mugwort,fresh ginger,garlic,liqu-orice,saponin,tangerine peel.The herbs mostly used were relieving,heat-clearing,tonifying,damping-clearing drugs.The warm and cold herbs were mainly used.As for flavours,the acrid,bitter,sweet herbs were used frequently.The most drug tropisms were liver meridian,lung meridian,stomach meridian,spleen meridian and kidney meridian.Common compatibility of herbs were Scallion-Salt,Scallion-Ginger,Scallion-Fermented Soybean,Ginger-Salt,Ginger-Fermented Soybean.Common combination of herbs were Scallion-Ginger-Fermented Soybean,Musk-Scallion-Vivipara,Grlic-Jasmine-Salt etc.3.The external therapies included navel therapy,acupuncture,moxibustion,Catheterization,mechanical ejection,fumigation,hot medicinal compres ect.Conclusion: The results of the research summarized the law of acupoint selection and group medicition.It can provide reference value for clinical work and scie ntific research.
