Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Senile Diabetic Foot (Grade 0) By Buyang Huanwu Decoction

Objective This study through the Buyang Huanwu Decoction for the treatment of senile Diabetic Foot(grade 0)clinical observation to explore the early diagnosis and treatment of senile Diabetic Foot,in order to reduce Diabetic Foot gangrene and amputation incidence.Method According to inclusion and exclusion criteria,62 elderly patients with grade 0 Diabetic Foot were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group.On the basis of diet control,proper exercise,hypoglycemic and antihypertensive treatment,the control group was given basic western medicine(Oral rosuvastatin calcium tablets and aspirin enteric-coated tablets).The patients in the observation group were treated with Buyang Huanwu Decoction on the basis of the control group.After 8 weeks of treatment,the clinical symptoms,signs,blood lipids,ABI and arterial ultrasonography were observed.The data were analyzed by t-test and χ2-test respectively to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups.Result 1.Clinical symptoms and signs: After treatment,the integrals of both groups were decreased(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).2.Blood lipid four: The levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).There was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).HDL-C in the observation group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.05),HDL-C in the control group had no significant difference with that before treatment(P>0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).3.ABI: The difference between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),after treatment there was also statistically significant(P <0.05).4.Lower extremity arterial ultrasound: The difference between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),after treatment there was also statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Safety: During the clinical observation,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups.Conclusion The observation of this study shows that modified Buyang Huanwu Decoction can improve the clinical symptoms and related indicators of senile Diabetic Foot(grade 0)patients and achieve the effect of early treatment of senile Diabetic Foot,which can delay the progress of Diabetic Foot from grade 0 to grade 1-5.
