Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate and interview the nurses’ attitudes towards death in the emergency department,analyze the experience information of the psychological impact of patients’ death events on nurses in the emergency department,and provide reference and theoretical basis for nursing managers to timely carry out psychological intervention when nurses have adverse emotional reactions.Methods The nurse job stressors scale and simple coping style scale,death attitude portrayed scale of NingBo city seven tertiary hospital emergency department nurses were investigated,through purposeful sampling method to the emergency department nurses face-to-face semi-structured interviews,collect the influence factors of emergency department nurses attitude towards death and death in patients with psychological effects of emergency department nurses experience information and summarize the theme.Results 1.The influencing factors of nurses’ death attitude in the emergency department of tertiary hospitals are:talking about the death situation at home,reading or receiving the knowledge of death education.2.Qualitative interview concluded that there were 4 themes and 16 sub-themes in the psychological impact of patients’ death on the nurses in the emergency department.The four topics are the change of emotion feeling,self-cognition,expectations of work and weak social support.16 the theme,in turn,are:visual shock,fear,depression,emotional transfer,sadness,depression,anxiety,worry,accept,cherish life,enjoy the present,focus on yourself and your family’s health,personal growth,reflect on life,improve professional quality,looking forward to work recognised,looking forward to the environment improvement,looking forward to receive professional training,and colleagues support but limited power,family support,but the ability is not enough units to support the weak,the lack of public support.Conclusion This research adopts literature research,quantitative research and qualitative research of combining modern research methods,and probes into the death of NingBo city tertiary hospital emergency department nurses’ attitude and influence factors of emergency department nurses are analyzed in the face of the experience of death in patients with different information,to nursing managers to respond to bring bad mood because of work the nurse of mental intervention to provide the reference and theoretical basis,thus effectively improving the unhealthy feelings of the nurses,strengthen team cohesion,improve nursing quality.
