| Objective: To compare the features of clinicopathology between IMPC and IDC and discuss the impact of IMPC proportion on prognosis.Method: Collect materials of four hundred and twenty-five cases including clinicopathological characteristics, immunohistochemical features and prognosis of disease from the Forth Hospital of Hebei Medical University during January 2009 to December 2011.Sixty-five cases were diagnosed with IMPC and three hundred and sixty diagnosed with IDC obtained from patients from every month by random list.Result: There were statistically significant differences in age structure,TNM staging, vascular invasion, tumor diameter staging, regional lymph node staging and positive rate of PR,while there was no statistically significant differences in menstrual status, histological grade,ER,Ki-67,molecular subtype. The median follow-up time was ninety months, there was a statistically significant difference in DFS(P=0.009)but no difference in OS(P=0.27).The IMPC group was divided into four teams with the standard of twenty-five percent, considering that the forth team has three cases and was combined with the third. There is no statistically significant differences among three teams in ninety months DFS and OS(P=0.64 and P=0.62).Conclusion: IMPC has the characteristics of elderly diagnosis, biological invasion behaviour,a high percentage of lymph node metastasis, advanced TNM stages, strong invasion, the main molecular subtype of Luminal. The proportion of IMPC has nothing to do with the prognosis of IMPC. |
