Objectives To study the effect of surface treatment on the shear strength of metal brackets with Mesoplastic resin and Fuji 9 glass ion implants by sand blasting + acid etching,simple etching and alcohol rubbing.Apply Beijing-Tianjin enamel adhesive,GC resin-reinforced glass ionomer,3M Transbond,and OMRCO Green Gloog,bond the SBS of the metal bracket on the surface of the restoration and the surface damage of the restoration after removing the bracket.It was investigated separately which kind of adhesive agent had minimal damage to the prosthesis after removing the brackets on the premise of obtaining sufficient adhesive force when the metal brackets were bonded to the surfaces of the two prostheses.Methods Ninety-six US-plastic resin specimens and 96 Fuji nine-packed bodies were randomly divided into three groups according to the surface treatment methods.They were group A simple alcohol wipes,group B 37% phosphoric acid etching group,and group C sandblasting+ 37% phosphoric acid etching group.Each large group was randomly divided into four groups according to the four adhesives used.The bonded specimens were soaked in a constant-temperature water bath at 37 degrees for 24 hours,and then placed in a thermocycler at 5 degrees for 30 seconds.55 degrees for 30 seconds,10,000 times for cold and hot cycles,remove and measure SBS,observe and record if the surface of the restoration after the removal of the bracket is damaged.Scanning electron microscopy was performed on the surfaces of the prostheses treated with the three methods.Results 1 Mesoplastic resin restorations A,B,and C(three types of surface treatment methods)Three sets of specimens were bonded with four adhesives to compare the shear strength of metal brackets.The difference between group C and group A and group B was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the groups A and B(P>0.05).A1,A2,and B2 did not reach clinically effective adhesive strength.When the same surface treatment method was used for bonding with four adhesives,the average shear strength of the GC resin-reinforced glass ionomer group was the lowest,and there was a statistically significant difference compared with the other three adhesives(P< 0.05),3MTransbond group specimens had the highest average shear strength,and there was no significant difference compared with Grengloo group(P>0.05).There was no interaction between the three surface treatments and the four adhesives(P>0.05).After the removal of the brackets,the damage rate of the surface of the prosthesis was compared between groups.There was a significant difference between group C and group A and B(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference between group A and group B(P>0.05).There was no breakage in the Jingjin enamel adhesive and the GC resin reinforced glass ionomer adhesive group in group A and B.Three treatment methods 3MTransbond group The green plastic group was damaged,and 3MTransbond group was higher than the green plastic group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).The surface structures of the three groups of A,B,and C treated prostheses were observed by scanning electron microscopy.The surface roughness of the C group was significantly increased,showing a granular shape.In group A,compared with group B,the lines on the surface of the resin in group B were damaged and the surface roughness increased,but the roughness did not increase significantly.2 Fujiki glass ionomers A,B,and C(three kinds of surface treatment methods)Three sets of specimens were bonded with four adhesives to compare the shear strength of metal brackets.The difference between the C1 group and the A1 and B1 groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the A1 and B1 groups(P>0.05).The three sets of specimens Beijing-Tianjin and GC failed to reach effective adhesive strength.Break rate: There was a statistically significant difference between group C and group A and B(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between group A and group B(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the Beijing-Tianjin group and the GC group.There was no damage in both the 3M group and the green gum group,and 3M Transbond light-cured resin adhesive was used.The group is higher than the green light-cured resin adhesive group.The surface structure was observed by scanning electron microscopy.The surface roughness group of group C was significantly increased,and the surface was a coral-like porous structure.In group A,compared with group B,the surface roughness of group B slightly increased,but it was not very obvious.Conclusions 1 Blast cleaning + acid etching on the surface of the USP resin restoration can significantly increase the shear strength of the adhesive bracket,but at the same time,the surface damage rate after the removal of the bracket is also significantly increased.The shear strength of the bonded metal bracket after simple acid etching was larger than that of simple alcohol wipe,but the difference was not statistically significant.2 After the acid etching of the surface of the plastic resin restoration,the application of Beijing-Tianjin enamel adhesive to bond the metal bracket can achieve effective clinical adhesive strength,and the surface damage rate of the restoration after removing the bracket is small.3 The surface of the Fuji 9 restoration was significantly strengthened by the sandblasting treatment + acid etching,but the surface damage rate after the removal of the bracket was also significantly increased.After the surface was treated with simple etching,the shear strength of the bonded metal bracket was greater than that of the alcohol wipe,but the difference was not statistically significant.4 After the simple acid etching of Fuji 9 Glass Ion Filler to repair the surface,the green adhesive can achieve effective adhesion.And after removing the brackets,the damage rate is lower.
