Objectives Through the Meta analysis to find out the different vertical facial types incisor alveolar morphology and alveolar bone density in the study,the use of CBCT to do further research on its shortcomings,hope to further understanding of the differences between patients with different vertical facial types incisal alveolar bone morphology and bone density,and provide a theoretical basis and support for clinical treatment.Methods 1 by computer retrieval in databases PubMed,Embase,Cochrane English library,China CNKI database(CNKI),Chinese biomedical literature database(CBM),Wanfang database,China science and Technology Journal Full-text Database(VIP),by two reviewers of the retrieved articles according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria for screening and data extraction.The literatures by the United States health care quality and research institutions(The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality,AHRQ)are recommended for cross-sectional study evaluation criteria to evaluate the quality of the use of Review Manager 5.3 Meta analysis of publication bias in the funnel diagram in the form of intuitive judgment.2 according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria selected 127 patients between the ages of 12~50,according to the vertical facial types and age were grouped on the shooting of cone beam CT(Cone beam Computer Tomography),will be taken to NNT data into Viewer software for measurement,measured upper incisor and lateral mandibular incisor labial and lingual alveolar bone height(UMBH USBH,USLH,UMLH,LMBH,LMLH,LSBH,and LSLH),on the side of the incisor and mandibular incisor labial and lingual alveolar bone thickness(UMBP,UMLP,USBP,USLP,LMBP,LMLP,LSBP,LSLP),trabecular bone mineral density and lateral incisor on mandibular incisor(UMD,USD,LMD,LSD).The results were statistically analyzed by two-factor analysis of variance and paired sample t test.Results 1 Meta analysis results:(1)the height of alveolar bone in incisor area of different vertical facial types was not different between the three groups.The UMLH results were homogeneous angle group > low angle group > high angle group;LMBH could not get the result of the three groups in the UMBH group.(2)the thickness of alveolar bone in different vertical facial types.The UMBP,UMLP,USLP,LMBP,LMLP and LSLP results were low angle group > angle group > high angle group;USBP could only get the highest result in low angle group;LSBP results were low angle group = angle group > high angle group.2 CBCT measurement results:(1)In adults UMLH,USLH,LMLH,LSLH,UMBP,UMLP,USBP,USLP,LMBP,LMLP,LSBP,LSLP,UMD,USD,LMD,LSD,there were differences in the three groups(P<0.05),comparison results showed that the low angle angle>mean angle group>high angle group.There was no statistical difference between UMBH,USBH,LMBH and LSBH in three groups(P>0.05).(2)In teenagers UMBH,UMLH,USBH,USLH,LMBH,LMLH,LSBH,LSLH,UMBP,UMLP,USBP,USLP,UMD,USD,LMD,LSD,there were differences in the three groups(P<0.05),comparison results showed that the low angle group: angle group>mean angle group> high angle group.There was no difference between LMBP,LMLP,LSBP and LSLP in three groups(P>0.05).(3)the maxillary central and lateral incisor labial and lingual alveolar bone height,mandibular central incisor and lateral incisor of the lingual alveolar bone thickness,mandible cancellous bone density,there were differences in the three groups(P<0.05),and showed the lateral incisor >the middle incisor.The thickness of the labial alveolar bone in the adult mandibular incisor and the lateral incisor is only statistically significant in the low angle group.There were no differences in the three groups between the middle incisors and the lateral incisors in the three groups(P>0.05).(4)there were significant differences in the height of labial alveolar bone and the bone mineral density of the maxillary and mandibular incisors and the mandibular cancellous bone in three groups(P<0.05),and all of them were lateral incisors>middle incisors.The labial and lingual alveolar bone height,lateral incisor and mandibular incisor incisors and teenagers on the side of mandibular incisor labial and lingual alveolar bone thickness in the three groups were not significant(P>0.05).(5)UMLH,USLH,LMBH,LMLH,LSBH and LSLH have difference in three groups(P<0.05).comparison results showed that there was difference between every two groups(P<0.05),and all of them were adolescents > adults.There were differences in UMD,USD,LMD and LSD in three groups(P<0.05).comparison results showed that there was difference between every two groups(P<0.05),and all of them were adults > adolescents.UMBH,USBH,UMBP,USBP,UMLP,USLP,LMBP,LMLP,LSBP and LSLP had difference only in low angle and equal angle group(P<0.05),and all of them were adolescents > adults.Conclusions 1 there were differences in alveolar bone morphology and bone mineral density in incisor area of different vertical facial types.The thickness of alveolar bone in incisor area was generally larger and the bone mineral density was higher in low angle patients,while the thickness of alveolar bone in incisor area was relatively small and the bone mineral density was relatively low in high angle patients.2 the height and thickness of the alveolar bone in the upper and lower mandibular incisors are larger than those of the middle incisors,and the bone density is also high.3 the height of the alveolar bone in the maxillary lateral incisors is higher than that of the middle incisor,and the bone density is relatively large.The bone density in the mandibular lateral incisor was relatively high.4 except for the high angle patients,the height and thickness of the alveolar bone in the incisor area were larger than those in the adults.5 the bone mineral density of the upper and lower incisors in adolescents is lower than that in the adults.
