Objective: To analyze the clinical features, the types of pathogenic bacteria and the related risk factors of myelodysplastic infection after chemotherapy in children with acute leukemia diagnosed and regularized in our hospital, and to provide basis for future clinical prevention and treatment of co-infection in children with acute leukemia. Methods: A total of 116 acute leukemia patients diagnosed and who underwent standard chemotherapy in our pediatric department from 2010 to 2017 were included in our study. The clinical symptoms, biochemical tests, bone marrow suppression, nosocomial infections in children with acute leukemia and the related factors were retrospectively analyzed. Results: 116 children with acute leukemia hospitalized 997 times in total, and there were 742 cases of bone marrow suppression after chemotherapy, accounting for 74.4% of the total times of hospitalization. The number of affections in hospitalized days was 648,accounting for 64.9% of the total times of hospitalization.Among them, the number of hospital infections occurred 247 times during the period of bone marrow suppression, accounting for 38.1%.Respiratory tract infection accounted for the highest proportion,up to 57.5%.The positive rate was only 31.2% of the infectious agent culture in bone marrowsuppression period. The main risk factors for the infection in the myelosuppression stage were: bone marrow suppression, hospitalization, length of hospitalization, neutrophil count, and the lack of duration of granulocytes. Conclusion: The incidence of myelosuppression in children with acute leukemia is high, and the incidence of nosocomial infections in myelosuppression is high.Prevention and control of myelosuppression and nosocomial infection are important aspects to improve the treatment of acute leukemia and the survival of children.Mycotic suppression of nosocomial infection in children with acute leukemia detection rate is low, mainly gram-negative bacteria.Bone marrow suppression, hospitalization, length of hospitalization, neutrophil count and the lack of duration of granulocytes were closely related to the incidence of infection in the hospital.
