Objectives The orthogonal test method was used to discuss the technological parameters of the microwave sintering process to prepare the excellent properties of yttrium-stabilized tetragonal zirconia(Y-TZP)ceramics.The flexural strength,fracture toughness,friction and wear of the Y-TZP ceramic materials prepared by microwave sintering and the commonly used zirconia ceramic materials were compared in order to provide the experimental basis for improving the wear of Y-TZP zirconia ceramic repair materials.Methods 1 The preparation of Y-TZP nano ceramic powders by 25.6g zirconium nitrate,2.345 g yttrium nitrate,11.6g potassium chloride and 10.4g urea was used as raw materials,and Y-TZP nano ceramic powders were prepared by salt solution combustion(SSCS).2 After adding 14wt%PVA slurry into the powder,granulating,the samples were dried by 120 MPa and then pressed into 30 mm at a pressure of 200 Mpa.3 According to the orthogonal experimental design,the plain billet was sintered by microwave to detect the porosity,surface hardness and fracture toughness of the Y-TZP ceramic materials prepared.The effects of sintering temperature(A),heating rate(B)and holding time(C)on the properties of ceramic materials were measured,and the optimum technological parameters for the preparation of Y-TZP ceramic materials was selected.4 Under the optimal technological parameters,the Y-TZP nano ceramic prepared by microwave sintering is compared with the commonly used ceramic materials.The control group was Upcera(A)and Wayland(B)ceramic samples,and the experimental group was Y-TZP ceramic(C).The Archimedes principle was used to calculate the porosity of the experiment group and the control group;the surface hardness and fracture toughness of the Vivtorinox hardness tester were measured.The universal test machine was used to detect the threepoint bending strength;the micro friction and wear test machine(UMT-3)was used to replace the external oral environment,and the test parts before and after the friction and wear test were measured with the electronic balance.The wear amount is measured to measure its friction and wear properties.The SPSS17.0 statistics software was used to analyze the variance of the experimental data by multiple index orthogonal test.The single factor variance analysis was selected between the group and the group,and two groups was compared with the LSD method.When the variance was not homogeneous,the Dunnett ’s T3 method was used for statistical analysis.Results 1 Through orthogonal test,the optimum technological parameters of microwave sintering are A:1400℃,B:15℃/min and C:20min,and the main technological parameters affecting the ceramic material are A and B,namely sintering temperature and heating rate.The stomatal rate of the experimental group is 11.05%,the fracture toughness is 10.65 ± 0.61MPa·m1/2 and the bending strength is 1066.85 ±49.43 Mpa.2 The data of the experimental group and the control group are statistically analyzed by SPSS17.0 software.It is found that the porosity of the self-made Y-TZP ceramics is greater than that of Upcera and Willard zirconia,and the fracture toughness of the homemade Y-TZP ceramics is similar to that of the zirconia ceramics,but less than the Willard zirconia ceramics.The surface hardness of the self-made Y-TZP ceramics is less than that of Upcera and Willard zirconia,and the three point bending strength of the self-made Y-TZP ceramics is similar to the Upcera zirconia ceramic materials,but less than the sample of Willard zircon ceramics.The wear amount of the self-made Y-TZP ceramics and the Upcera zirconia ceramic specimens are similar,but more than Willard zirconia ceramic materials.Conclusions 1 The optimum process parameters of microwave sintering process for preparing ceramic materials with excellent performance are A3B3C2,that is,the sintering temperature is 1400℃,the heating rate is 15℃/min,the heat preservation time is 20 min,and the sintering temperature and the heating rate are the main factors.2 By measuring three point bending strength,fracture toughness and friction and wear properties,the properties of the self-made Y-TZP ceramics are similar to that of the zirconia ceramics,but there is still a gap with the properties of the zirconia ceramics.
