Objective:The changes of HRV indexes(frequency domain index:MEAN BPM,PNN50,etc.;time domain index:HF,LF,etc.)were observed by acupuncture at the Zhizheng(left side)of patients with acute cerebral infarction. To discuss the effect of acupuncture on HRV in patients with acute cerebral infarction and to further explore the effect of acupuncture on the function of autonomic nervous system in order to provide the basis for clinical treatment and theoretical study. Methods:Thirty patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly selecte d.All the patients were from the second Department of Acupuncture an d moxibustion of the first affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of traditional Chinese Medicine. There were 14 males and 16 females a ged 45-75 years with an average age of 59.47±9.63 years, and the cours e of disease was 7-14 days. The mean course of disease was 9.87±2.14 days.Acupuncting the Zhizheng point on the left side, detecting the HRV index with dynamic electrocardiogram-medilog(?)AR12 and recording th e HRV index Min Bpm,MaxBpm,MeanBpm,PNN50,RMSSD,SDNN,HF,LF,VLF,ULF,HF%,LF%,VLF%,ULF%,LogLF/HF at 5 minutes before acupun-ture,after the needle stimulation,at the time of the needle removal and 5 minutes after the needle removal time point. Then established the data base to do the statistics analysis with SPSS22.0 software, measurement d atas are indicated by(x±s)and P<0.05 was statistically significant.Result:1.Time Domain Indicators:The values of Min BPM,Max BPM,Mean BPM,PNN50 and RMSSD showed no significant changes at all time points after acupuncture and before acupuncture, which was not statistically significant(P>0.05).SDNN values were significantly higher(P<0.01)when compared with acupuncture(5 min)during walking.2.Frequency domain indicators:When HF,HF%,LF and LF%were acupunctured, when needles were taken out, when the needles were out, after the needles were out(5 min),they were lower than before the acupuncture(P<0.01),which was statistically significant.VLF values were significantly higher than those before acupuncture(P<0.05)and ULF values were significantly higher than those before acupuncture(P<0.01)which was statistically significant. When VLF%,ULF%and LogLF/HF values were acupunctured, when needles were taken out,the needles(5 min)were higher than those before needle acupuncture(P<0.01).Conclusions:1.Acupuncture on Zhizheng point(left side)will not cause the change of heart rate of patients with acute cerebral infarction.2.Acupuncture on Zhizheng point(left side)has inhibitory effects on the vagus nerve in patients with acute cerebral infarction.3.Acupuncture on Zhizheng point(left side)has stimulatory effects on sympathetic nerve in patients with acute cerebral infarction.
