Case Report Of Full Crown Aesthetic Restoration For Anterior Teeth Using Diagnosis Wax Up And Silicone Rubber Guide Plate

Objective: To explore and evaluate the clinical effect of the combination of diagnostic wax and silicone rubber guide plate in full crown aesthetic repair of anterior teeth.Materials and methods: Collect 8 patients with anterior full crown aesthetic restoration from 2016 to 2017 years in oral repair department of our hospital,including4 males and 4 females,which involved tetracycline teeth,enamel defects,anterior alignment,severe deep overbite,deep cover and do not accept orthodontic treatment of patients.Preliminary preparation of dental tissue was performed on the study model based on preliminary restoration protocols,information on intravenous tooth conditions,and patient-to-patient communication.And then pro-ducting the diagnostic wax up in accordance with the design.The shape and the thickness of wax should be completely mimicking the final restorative procedure,to prevent large errors between the final prosthesis and the diagnostic wax.Doctors communicate with the patient by the completing clinical diagnosis wax pattern,and then adjusting the wax type,according to their own professional knowledge and the patient's individual aesthetic requirements,in order to achieve the effect of both patients and doctors are satisfied.Finally,use high-strength silicone rubber material to make silicone rubber guide plate,and draw the cut lines on the silicone rubber guide plates,then cutting the silicone rubber guide plates in accordance with the cutting line.During preparation of the oral tooth preparation,each silicone rubber guide plate,which has been cut,is brought into the mouth to confirm and control the amount of tooth tissue preparation.Finally,the preparation of the surface after the completion of polishing,gingival retraction mold and infusion of ultra-anhydrite model.The diagnostic wax was then sent to the lab with the colorimetric results obtained in the correct colorimetric method to complete the final restoration.A temporary prosthesis is made of a self-setting resin by means of a silicone rubber guide made of a diagnostic wax pattern.Then producing the silicone rubber guide plate according to the diagnosis wax up,and making temporary restorations.After completion of the final prosthesis,trying to wear in the mouth,making effective adjustment according to the aesthetic requirements of patients,and then bonding the final prosthesis to complete the final aesthetic repair.The study was selected 8 patients.All the patients were diagnosed before,and after the treatment,according to their aesthetic requirements,in the research model to make diagnostic wax type,after the satisfaction of patients,through the diagnosis of wax production silicone rubber guide plate,guide the amount of oral tooth preparation,and then obtain diagnostic wax type of similar final prosthesis.In this study,we evaluated the clinical effects of the diagnosis of wax and silicone rubber guide plates from the aspects of the diagnosis of wax type and silicone rubber guide plate,the collection of aesthetic opinions of the patient,the accuracy of oral tooth preparation and the satisfaction of the final prosthesis.Results: In the 8 cases of full crown aesthetic repair of the anterior teeth in the combined use of diagnostic wax and silicone rubber guide plates,the patients were satisfied with the shape of the restored restorations after the completion of the final repair and 3-6 months of follow-up,The final restoration of the body shape to achieve the desired aesthetic effect;in the final restoration of the color rendering,in addition to one case in the final restoration of the body when trying to wear the color problem after the modified satisfaction,the rest are achieved The patient satisfaction results.Conclusion:The diagnosis of wax type intuitively reflects the expected effect of repair,facilitates the communication between patients and the repair effect,and preliminaryestimates the feasibility of the treatment plan and perfects the clinical treatment plan.Silicone rubber guide plate not only accurate guidance of the amount of tooth preparation,and the integrity of the diagnosis of wax-type repair effect was transferred to the final restoration,and to achieve the final expected aesthetic repair effect.The combination of the two,greatly improved patient satisfaction,reflecting the great important clinical significance in the full crown aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth.
