Root canal therapy includes four parts:preparation, irrigation, disinfection and root canal filling. However, after those steps, swelling and pain often occur, and even cause acute inflammation of periapical.the effect of root canal therapy was affected.Root canal preparation is an important step in root canal therapy, and it is also a key step in the success of root canal therapy.this study compares of the effect of 4 kinds of principle of root canal irrigation system on apical extrusion of debris and evaluate the cleaning efficacy.[Objective]:Compares of the effect of 4 kinds of principle of root canal irrigation system on apical extrusion of debris and evaluate the cleaning efficacy.[Materials and Methods]:In first part,Thirty-four premolar roots were divided into 4 groups of 8 teeth each.In group A,The teeth were instrumented and irrigated by lateral opening syringe. In group B,irrigation was done using passive ultrasonic irrigation(PUI)irrigation system. In group C RinsEndo root canal irrigation system and in group D Vibringe sonic irrigation system. In negative control group(n=2)was no irrigated after preparation.Scanning electron microscope evaluation was done for assessment of smear layer removal in the coronal, middle, and apical thirds. In second part,Thirty-two premolar roots were divided into 4 groups of 8 teeth each, respectively, lateral open syringe,PUI,RinsEndo and Vibringe sonic irrigation system, with 5.25%NaClO+17%EDTA was use as irrigants.Debris extruded from the apical during root canal preparation was collected into preweighed Eppendorf tubes. The weight of the dry extruded debris was established by subtracting the preinstrumentation and postinstrumentation weight of the Eppendorf tubes for each group. The data obtained were analyzed by using one-way analysis of variance and Tukey honestly significant difference.[Results]:1,removal of intracanal smear layer;in each group, there was a smear layer covering the dentinal tubule in apical thirds, and the score was higher than that of in the coronal and middle(P<0.05).The scores of B,C and D groups were lower than those in group A(P<0.05).A,B,C,D group in the area of the root canal wall smear layer score difference was not statistically significant.2,Apical extruded debris:A group had the least amount of extruded debris, which was significantly different from the other groups(P<0.05),C group was significantly higher than that of other groups(P<0.05),B,D groups were not statistically significant.[Conclusions]:1 The study showed significantly better removal of smear layer from the apical third of root canal using RinsEndo Vibringe and PUI compared with lateral opening syringe.2 RinsEndo made more apical extruded debris, and lateral opening syringe made less apical extruded debris. There was no significant difference between the Vibringe and PUI.
