| Objective: Lung cancer is one of the most important diseases that can cause cancer deaths and about 16% of all lung cancer patients can survive in five years.Recent studies have shown that lung cancer may be derived from Lung cancer-stem-cell,and the origin of lung cancer may also be closely related to TSCM.Therefore, the distribution of Nanog and Musashi1 protein in fifty cases of NSCLC tissues, fifty cases of carcinoma adjacent tissues and fifty cases of benign lung lesions were detected by immunohistochemistry(IHC),exploring their relationship in the malignant behavior of lung cancer, providing new targets for early detection, treatment and of lung cancer.Method: The expressions of Nanog and Musashi1 proteins in NSCLC tissues(fifty cases),carcinoma adjacent tissues(fifty cases)and benign inflammatory lesion tissues(fifty cases)by IHC,evaluating their clinical significance.Result:Nanog and Musashi1 proteins were abundantly expressed in the ES-NSCLC.1.The expression rates of Nanog protein in lung cancer group, adjacent group and benign lesion group were 78%,0% and 4%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the comparison each two groups as a pair, the expression is significant in lung cancer(P<0.0167).In different of tissues, the distribution level is abundant in LSCC(P<0.05);Furthermore,Nanog was also more observed in poorly differentiated lung cancers than the well differentiated cancers(P<0.05).Nanog expression was positively correlated with stages and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).Nanog expression did not get a significant correlation with age, gender or tumor size(P>0.05);2.The positive expression of Musashi1 was obviously different between the three groups(P<0.05).In the comparison each two groups as a pair, the expression was more observed in lung cancer(P<0.0167).The distribution level of Musashi1 was more observed between histology and differentiation(P<0.05),while did not get a much more correlation between age,sex and tumor size(P>0.05).Musashi1 expression was positively correlated with stages and lymph node migration(P<0.05).The distribution of Nanog and Musashi1 two proteins in lung cancer had correlation(r=0.579,P<0.01).Conclusion : 1.Nanog and Musashi1 proteins were significantly expressed in the ES-NSCLC;2.The expression of the two proteins significantly increased with the stage of lung cancer, low differentiation and lymph node metastasis;3.Stem cell markers Nanog and Musashi1 two proteins may form a complex network of regulatory pathways to participate in the malignant behavior of lung cancer, and the correlation between the two proteins;4.Nanog and Musashi1 two proteins are potential biomarkers for NSCLC,and can reflect quite early diagnosis and prognosis of NSCLC patients. |
